FOREWORD AUTHOR MATHRI PRAGADA MARKANDEYULU – An INTRODUCTION. 

For Honorable author Manthri Pragada Markandeyulu , literature is what is being written and sometimes spoken stuff and substance  for the uplift of the society and to own mother country, and finally to the world. He is a permanent resident of India. He is actively associated with Literary, Cultural, Art and Poetic groups. He has interviewed twenty five and more dignitaries of  Global and Foreign Poets which were  posted in various Social Media connections.

Simply put, literature represents the culture and tradition of a language or a people. The concept is difficult to precisely define, though many have tried; it's clear that the accepted definition of literature is constantly changing and evolving.

Moreover,  Manthri Pragada Markandeyulu  is also running a POETIC CHARMINAR (An English Literary, Arts, Cultural, Poetic and Research Academy), a Poetic Group where more than 120+ Countries Poets/Poetesses/Authors are Members. He is a well qualified person, retired Public Sector Undertaking (Government of India) Officer (Private Secretary in Department of Atomic Energy Establishment of ECIL, Hyderabad (India).

For many, the word literature suggests a higher art form; merely putting words on a page doesn't necessarily equate to creating literature. A literary thought or theme is the accepted body of works for a given author. Some works of literature are considered canonical, that is, culturally representative of a particular genre, like poetry, story prose, or drama. 

Some definitions also separate literary fiction from so-called genre fiction, which includes types such as mystery, science fiction, western, romance, thriller, and horror. Genre fiction typically does not have as much character development as literary fiction and is read for entertainment, escapism, and plot, whereas literary fiction explores themes common to the human condition and uses symbolism and other literary devices to convey the author's point of view on his or her chosen themes. Literary fiction involves getting into the minds of the characters and experiencing their relationships with others.

Works of literature, at their best, provide a kind of blueprint of human society. From the writings of ancient civilizations such as Egypt and China to Greek philosophy and poetry, from the epics of Homer to the plays of William Shakespeare, from Jane Austen and Charlotte to Maya Angelou, works of literature give insight and context to all the world's societies. 

In this way, literature is more than just a historical or cultural artifact; it can serve as an introduction to a new world of experience. Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. 

It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become The crown of literature is poetry.

Literature is where he wish go to explore the highest and lowest places in human society and in the human spirit, where he still  hope to find not absolute truth but the truth of the tale, of the imagination and of the heart.
