Sitting in my office, I’ve been having the same dream every night for the last month. Of this girl with reddish brown curls. Standing around 5ft tall. She always seems to be running from something in the forest, but I could never catch up to her or even see her face. I just remember the smell of honeycomb, and lilies. Oh how I love the smell of honeycomb mixed with lilies.
I starred out the window in my office thinking what could she have been running from? I was interrupted by my Beta Marco. Me and Marco had been friends for a long time. He has been the beta under me for over one hundred years. He is the most loyal friend, I could count on him for anything. I never trusted anyone these days you still have wolves plotting against The Lycan King, I can’t lie during the war a lot of packs formed alliances against the Lycan King, and blood was shed, which is why we have a treaty with most packs.
Interrupting my thoughts Marco said Sirius, Patrick the warrior from the Blue-Moon pack called and said that he would offer his daughter to you to pay off his debt that is owed to you. Would you like to accept the offer? Patrick the warrior in the Blue-Moon pack has a gambling addiction, and one night caused some commotion at one of my casinos. Which resulted in one of my pack members losing their life. I told Patrick he will have to work for me until his debt is paid or I will rip he up limb from limb after going to his Alpha about his addiction and about the death of one of my Lycan Warriors. Which now he is offering his daughter what an Asshole. Using others to clear his debt.
Looking at Marco I told him I will accept his offer and tell Patrick I’ll be there to pick up his daughter this afternoon around 5pm. Oh and Marco make sure you tell Patrick if he f**k me over I will display his limbs at the doorstep of his precious Alpha. My wolf interrupted me talking to Marco and said well maybe we can have some fun with her and force her to be our slave like we planned on doing to Patrick. My wolf name is Haloris. He is really something to deal with his anger over the years have definitely changed. But don’t get me wrong he can always go back to being ruthless, but over the years he has settled down a lot, and either that I am grateful.
I responded to Haloris and I said No! this is a woman and needs to be treated as such. She was not the one who cause harm to our warrior. It was her father, she will not be treated unfairly for what her father wrong doing. She will work in the pack house. Until all debt is paid and then she can go back to her pack. Looking at the time I know I have to get through these email before I head to Blue-Moon pack. It will take us more than 8 hours to get there.
I don’t know why but Haloris feels excited to go. He has never been this happy before. Got me wondering is this a set up for them to finally get close enough to try and kill me. What is it that Haloris is not telling me. Either way I will be finding out once there
