“Hello, Ari, are you there?” Damian asked once again.
“Uhhh… yes”, I replied, biting my bottom lip.
“Why aren’t you home yet? He questioned.
“I just rounded up from work, I’ll be home soon,” I replied a bit puzzled. Wasn’t he going to see Lily today? Why was he asking me this?
“I miss you, come home please. I already sent Riley to pick you up. I’m a bit busy with my father now.” He said.
Did I just hear right or was I hallucinating? Did Damian just say he missed me or was I mishearing?
