I walked into the house the next morning tired as hell.
Lily had called yesterday while Ariana went to the bathroom stating her condition had worsened.
She sounded so urgent on the phone that I couldn’t just ignore her so I left without informing Ari. I hope she wasn’t upset about that.

“Oh you’re leaving for work already? I can drop you off.” I said to Ariana. She was already fully dressed and ready to leave.
