Shit!! What was Asher doing here at a time like this?
“The one and only.” He replied with that weird smirk on his face.
“What are you doing here?” I asked nervously.
“I could say the same for you, what’s the Luna of this beloved pack doing here?” He asked, still smiling.
“Oh, she came to make some enquiries about the upcoming auction. Her brother wants to sell something.” Dr Black replied.
I almost rolled my eyes but I forced myself to stay still. What was wrong with him? Why did he feel the need to answer for me?
“Interesting.” Asher hummed, still staring at me directly. “Anyways I just came here to see a family friend. But don’t forget, my offer still stands.” He said and Dr Black looked between me and me confused.
“What offer?” He asked.
