Who is she?

1006 Words
Jacob's POV I wake up early, eager for my next hunt with a new plan set in mind. I make a quick breakfast and grab my bow and arrows as I head out of the cabin. I approach my usual tree and climb up, patiently waiting my next target. Time passes slowly by and all I've shot so far are a couple of deer and a squirrel. I'm about to call it a day when I see a figure walking in the distance.  I watch and notice it's a man who seems lost. Damn. I've killed men in the past, but they just don't do it for me. They don't taste as delicious as women and are a pain to drag back to the cabin. Since I have nothing better to do, I climb down and approach the man. It seems that  I startled him and I find out he is looking for the pond.  I know this forest inside out, so I offer to lead him there. He's dressed for the woods, but I can tell he is a business man. He seems familiar, so I begin to ask him questions. He keeps his answer short and simple, which is understandable.  Once we reach the pond, he thanks me and offers me a beer from his cooler. Oddly enough, I have never drank an alcoholic beverage in my life. I accept the offer and take a sip. Well, damn! This is actually pretty good. I gulp the entire can in two swigs. Steven looks at me with wide eyes, then laughs. "That's pretty impressive for someone who never had a beer before." How did he know it was my first time? As if reading my mind, he answers me question. "Your facial expression gave it away." He smirks at me.  I have to admit, this feels strangely satisfying. I haven't had a peaceful conversation with someone in years. He uses his fishing rod and I use my arrows to catch fish. It's silent, but not an awkward type. Just two men enjoying nature and each others company. As much as I'm enjoying this, I still feel like something is missing. Then, I see it. I realize that it's not just me who notice the two women walking closer to the pond. Steven is always focusing his attention on the beauties.  Though they are both beautiful, one catches my eyes more than the other. I think of all the things I want to do with her, causing my d**k to twitch in my pants. f**k.  "Hello, ladies. Would you like to join us?" I hear Steven ask them, and I am hoping they say yes. I want to get to know my prey before catching her. They accept and take a seat on a fallen tree near us. I find out that the one I'm eye f*****g is Regina and the other girl is Heather. Luckily for me, it seems Steven is interested in that one.  Steven's POV I have never seen someone as gorgeous as Heather. Her friend, Regina is also kind and cute, but not really my type. We engage in small talk and I find myself inviting the three to my cabin for lunch. This is something I have never done before. I enjoy my privacy and nobody has ever set foot in my home in the woods.  Jake doesn't seem as strange as I thought, but I still am keeping my guard up around him. To my surprise, they all say yes and I lead them back to my cabin. I pride myself in my cooking skills, so I know they will like the food. I get to work on filleting the fish. "Wow, so not only are you sexy, but you know how to cook?" I turn to see Heather watching me and I smile at her compliment. "I'm a man with many talents." I smirk. She leans in closer to me and whispers into my ear. "I hope to discover them all." She winks at me and proceeds to walk outside to join Regina and Jake.  What the hell is wrong with me? I don't do random hook ups or one night stands, but this girl is affecting me strongly. I wanted to bend her over the counter-top and f**k her right here. This is so unlike me. Maybe it's the fact she's showing interest without knowing who I am or how much rich I am. I want her to like me for me though, not just my good looks.  It doesn't take long before Heather walks back inside to where I am. "Can I help with anything? I should have asked before, but I was feeling a little flustered." Damn, I love how bold and open this woman is. "Yes, could you begin on chopping vegetables up for a salad?" She opened the fridge and grabs all the things she needs and gets to work. "How long have you and Jake been friends?" I chuckle out loud, "Honestly, I just met him today." She also laughs at that. "So, you're just mister friendly, huh? Inviting strangers to your place." I think about what she said, and she's right. I invited strangers to my place. "And you are any better? You accept an invitation to a strangers house?" I reply back. She's quiet for a moment, and I feel like I just ruined any chance of getting closer to her.  "Your right, I did. To be honest, I like to give people a chance and know them before deciding if they are worthy of being in my life or not. Also, I know how to defend myself, so I'm not afraid of fighting you if I have to."  She calmly says as if she has learned from experience. There's so much I want to learn about her, but I need to take baby steps.  "Do you realize how sexy you are?" Why the hell did I just say that out loud?! That was suppose to remain just in my thoughts.
