The days went by without a single word from the twins and the Huntress. Charlie wandered around helplessly after the alpha had said she would return without being labeled as a traitor. He said he sent her out to run an errand for him.
Charlie's orders were a little robotic. Everyone was like that. You'd think it was the alpha who dropped everything and left. They all missed her. I don't remember much about pack life but I also don't remember it being like this. Not even my family had been this close.
"She looks tired," Someone behind me. I nodded not bothering to look at who spoke.
"Yeah, she hardly sleeps," I said going over some of the finance charts. This place makes more money than Trump Tower.
