Paul was scary, but he was also pathetic, a kind man who had the bad luck to rescue a super-slayer who thought he couldn't repay him except by molding him into another super-slayer. So Paul became Blizzard, he saw the perfect assassination techniques in the process of partnering with 13, and the clever and studious Paul also took the path of 13, and achieved great success with his own power.
Paul does not consider himself pathetic, although he has questioned his conscience countless times, but he has no regrets, he is proud to have a friend like 13, and it turns out that this friend has never forgotten him, he gave him a chance to stand in the sunshine again. Oscar is undoubtedly the best choice, no one will doubt that the noble teenager's bodyguard is the Western continent and 13 famous killer "Blizzard".
In the past two days, Anne has made the kind-hearted assassin a mess, and Paul, who has never had the opportunity to contact the noble lady, is completely overwhelmed by the style of Countess Homan. He knows that Antony is Oscar's lover, but this has not dampened his determination to pursue the lady, and Blizzard deserves to be called Blizzard, and he does everything so quickly and accurately, furiously and directly!
Oscar was able to get out of bed and walk around, which eased Anne's face at Paul a bit. Blizzard had been excited about it all night. Oscar was a little skeptical that this naive guy had climbed to the throne of the King of Killers solely through nepotism.
The caravan was on the road again, they were delayed at the camp for two days, and when they reached Heysel, a small town on the border between the province of Dormore and the Capital Borough, Oscar was startled by what he saw, a whole division of the Konos greeted them.
It turned out that the Turin side had gotten the news that the expedition, including the c******n, had all been killed in the accident, and although the Dormorga side confirmed that Oscar Jr. and his entourage had set out ahead of them, but after waiting for two days they were all but nowhere to be seen, and His Majesty, fearing that his brother-in-law would turn on him, sent out this division of cavalry to conduct a search, and Oscar Jr. happened to meet up with them.
The next step was a good one! The assassinated Othniel. Anne-Louis. The assassin, Lord Osney Anru Morissette, was bedridden and refused to be visited, leaving everything in the hands of his close minister, Baron Eber, who boasted of the whole affair and hinted that the assassination might have been connected with one of the ministers of Turin, and that the lieutenant-general of the Praetorian Guards went back to the Emperor to answer for it, after a moment's thought. Oscar, on the other hand, slowly advanced towards Turin under the escort of an entire cavalry division.
Turin, the capital of the Titan Empire, the city's history was even older than the Church Calendar. His Majesty, the first emperor of the Morrissette Dynasty, set his capital here, and the long-lasting peace and the establishment of a centralized system of power caused Turin to develop by leaps and bounds. For four hundred years, almost all the wisdom and glory of Titan has been concentrated in this city.
Turin is known as the continent's "Museum of Architecture", all the architectural forms in the history of Western continent's art can be found in this city's masterpieces; here is the western terminus of the famous "Far Eastern Trade Route", all the Western continent's royalty will be purchased here! All the royals and aristocrats of the Western Continent would purchase the luxury goods from the Far East here; this is the holy city blessed by the God of Light, and every year His Holiness the Pope would hold a grand festival in the Cathedral of Turin Scott; this is the distribution center of artists, and the most famous scholars, poets, painters, and musicians in the Western Continent have made this place their second hometown.
Someone once described the Morrissette Dynasty like this: the Knights of Narcissus were his shields, the Konquistas were his spears, the Illuminati were his trappings, and Turin was his crown.
Oscar and his party's caravan received widespread attention, indeed, the Near Guard Cavalry Division's voluminous cavalcade of horses attracted attention wherever they went. The usual Imperials speculated as to the identity of the owners of the vehicles, and some well-informed persons had long since made the name of Ossigne. The well-informed had already publicized the arrival of Osgoode Anne-Louis. Some well-informed people had already publicized the arrival of Othniel Anru Morissette, which caused an unprecedented sensation in Turin's high society, as the young man who had created the first court case of the Titans had returned after ten years!
The cavalry division of the Konoha Army delivered the boy and his group to a post station about twenty miles from the city gates and then returned to their quarters, where Oscar and his companions took a brief respite. It was here that Oscar met one of his cousins from the province of Kulle.
Cousin Tik was eight years older than him, and had been asked by Oscar's father to look after his cousin, Tik. Tico Netagapo. Anru. Viscount Gorbacondo had the air of an elite young man, and although he was a little disdainful of Oscar's rusticity, he was eager to teach the young cousin.
Viscount Gorbacondo had brought three brand new carriages, one of which was so magnificent that even Oscar could not help but sigh a little. Oscar didn't know much about horses, but he knew that the four horses pulling the carriages were definitely not ordinary, in fact, they were four purebred Razorback Giant Horses, the rarity of this kind of horse was similar to the huge diamond on the crown of His Imperial Majesty the Emperor.
Little Oscar was fascinated by this beautiful creature. They had an unusually strong appearance, athletic and well-developed limbs, and a coat the color of darkness, all of which were paired with their snow-white hooves that were unparalleled in their kind. Oscar thought of the proud unicorns in mythology, and they really did resemble the divine horses in people's imagination! Oscar finally realized what kind of relationship is called "love at first sight".
A good horse with a good saddle! The four very handsome horses are dragging a "palace"! According to the Empire's standard, the Anru family's carriages can use all kinds of models with a length of 3.4 meters and a width of 2.7 meters and below. The current one can be said to be the highest specification carriage of the Anru family.
The carriage as it was was painted pure black, it had a circle of furiously blossoming daffodils depicted in silver lines on all four sides, Oscar counted them a little vainly, luckily Tik told him in time that they were 572, symbolizing the glorious years that the Anru family had stood in the world. Oscar nodded as he continued to admire the work of art.
On the roof, the doors on both sides, and most prominently on the rear of the car hung the crest of the House of Anru, a golden round shield with a finely carved head of a tiger with its mouth wide open, and in the mouth of the tiger was a blooming daffodil. At the front of the carriage, there was a well-designed driver's seat, and on each side above the front of the carriage there was a crystal lamp, which after being filled with kerosene could illuminate the light for a distance of twenty to thirty meters.
Oscar grabbed the silver armrests and leapt into the car, the doors closed to shut out the sound of the outside world, it seems that the wood used in the construction of the car and the beautifully carved glass with daffodils set in the windows were carefully selected. The interior of the car was as comfortable as Oscar had expected, with loose-fitting seats that felt like a sofa, and cushions and pillows from Porcius to satisfy the teenager's enjoyment mentality. Oscar also realized that the secret compartments under the seats were actually divided into a wine cooler and a bookcase.
"Oh la! Dear friends! Let's hit the road!"
Again, according to Imperial norms, direct members of the House of Anru, which ranked at the top of the gentry, were not allowed to lead more than 50 soldiers into the capital, so Camille . Colonel Reallen had handpicked 50 high-ranking Buffy Knights for Oscar.
As soon as the magnificent carriages and the majestic Narcissus Knights appeared on the capital's avenue, they were met by the people who stopped to look at them. The specification of the carriages clearly indicated the status of their owners, and the valor of the Narcissus Knights won the screams and exclamations of the young girls and the crowds.
Before the caravan even reached the gates of the capital, it was difficult to move, and Oscar's driver, Wolsaka, was the most nervous of all, knowing the horses well enough to know that the most "handsome" of them all, Raziel, on the left hand side of the front row, was on the verge of anger after being groped by a daring child.
Luckily, the trumpets of the capital's defense division sounded in front of them, and a squadron of cavalry joined the escort. The civilians on both sides of the street automatically ducked under the eaves.
Passing through the Titan's Bright Gate directly south of the capital forest one truly entered the city. The citizens of the city were abuzz when they learned of the arrival of the heroes of the faraway Narcissus County, and they all automatically came out into the streets, where they crowded the Victory Square in front of the Titan's Bright Gate with chants of "Anru's Tiger" and "The Shield of the God of Light".
Oscar shook his head and smiled bitterly, ten years ago he entered Turin in the midst of such chants, and at that time he even lowered the window of his car and gave flying kisses to the citizens.
Oscar once again marveled at the warmth of the capitol, the citizens recognized the crest of the House of Anru and the knights of the House of Anru. They quickly gathered countless flowers, and petals flew throughout Victory Square! The people of Titan were never stingy when it came to treating heroes. The knights raised their swords in unison in salute as they passed by the Tower of Heroes that towered over the square, which in turn was rewarded with a loud cheer from the crowd.
The caravan had endured a great deal of struggle to break out of Victory Square, and they continued north into the King's Road, led by the Capital Defenders. This wide avenue, capable of running fifteen carriages parallel, was the central axis of the entire Turin, with Victory Square at one end and Hamilton Palace, the symbol of Titan royalty, at the other.
The King's Road was only open to the public from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. during the day, and the rest of the time if you wanted to cross the city then you had to either detour through Victory Square or pass through the several avenues behind Hamilton Palace. Of course, this rule was limited to those civilians who used two legs, and Oscar saw multiple carriages of different grades traveling along the avenues.
The buildings lining the avenues were mostly masterpieces from the reign of the First King's name of the Morrissette dynasty, tall buildings that were stately and solemn, with statues carved into almost every wall. There are no buildings lower than four stories, and the thick columns and granite bas-reliefs proclaim the grandeur of the capital.
The mottled stone pattern on the road surface can still vaguely see the color of the past, which has left the footprints of countless great men, the history of Titan is like this avenue extends, when you suddenly stop and look, in front of you is the peak of power.
Oscar is a little strange, the caravan did not continue to travel in the direction of the palace, the capital division of the cavalry seems to have received orders, they led the caravan to a fork in the road. Oscar noticed the name engraved on the stone slab at the entrance to the street - Penelope.
Oscar had also heard a bit about this Penelope Avenue. If the King's Road is the steps of the palace, then Penelope Avenue is the flower bed next to the steps. On both sides of the avenue is a colorful official residence villa area, half of the Empire's prominent residence are concentrated in this avenue, which also includes the Titan Empire's Eastern Frontier Governor Dortmund. Dortmund Anru. This also included the residence of Marshal Dortmund Anru Netagabo, the Governor of the Eastern Frontier of the Titan Empire.
31 Penelope Avenue, Sashaie Netagabo. Netagapo. Miss Anru is wandering anxiously in the portico! The young lady is only fourteen years old, but her intelligence and beauty have made her known in the capital's high society as "the daffodil crown of Anru". The Duchess wore a formal gown only seen at court, a long silk dress with a long hemline, embroidered with a fine circle of daffodils on the foot of the skirt, the crystal silk threads from the Orient and the cut by the famous masters of Kuchi's tailor store made the Duchess look as if she were standing amidst a field of daffodils. The lace on the neckline of the dress was in that elegant and stately style of the Alpha I period, while the design of the bust and corseted waist was in the current Kuchi style, which was known for accentuating a woman's graceful curves.
At this moment, Miss Duke's beautiful face is full of anxiety, her beautiful eyes constantly flashing written full of impulse, she could not wait to rush to the street to meet her brother Oscar!
"Good heavens! Sasha! Can't you be quiet for a moment! Sit down in your chair like a duchess! You're giving me a bit of a headache from all that walking around and shaking!" An equally beautiful noblewoman beside Sasha couldn't stand the fawn any longer.
"Oh! Mother Celia! You should know my feelings better than anyone else! I have been looking forward to this day every day and every night! Oh darn it! Foley broke my wagon at Bodega! Spartimo's mob is destroying the main road! Braslage is flooding! Damn it! It's spring! Everything's a mess! I could have met Brother Oscar earlier instead of waiting here!"
Duchess Anru's eyes widened! "Sasha! Please watch your words! You're actually cursing, that's not something a Duchess should say!"
Sasha sat down dismally in her chair, "I just want to see brother Oscar sooner ......"
Celia's heart ached at the sight of Sasha, for ten years this little miss' favorite question was, "What is brother Oscar doing right now?" Celia caressed Sasha's hair, "My little Sasha! Little princess! Be patient, will you? Don't you see the flowers that the citizens have placed in front of the residence? They're already in the city, and they'll probably be here soon!"
At that moment the big Folly burst into the porch with such gusto that he forgot even his manners. "Yes! Ma'am, the young master and the others will be here soon! I saw their carriage!"
Sasha cheered, and she rushed off the porch with a shout, not forgetting to kick Foley, who was blocking the doorway like a mountain, on her way out.
The Duchess of Anru closed the folding fan in her hand, she could not believe her eyes, that was not the "Daffodil Crown of Anru", who was known for her dignity and politeness, but rather, she looked like a wild girl in the house of a certain knight.
The lady rose and straightened her skirts, thinking that the poor child had come home at last, and that her husband had sworn that no harm would come to the child. He had even gone so far as to break openly and completely with that Minister of State for the sake of that child's freedom. What the hell with them! That's their men's business, but that minister went too far! He shouldn't embarrass a child. Celia. Anou. Mrs. Netagabo deeply disliked the actions of the Minister of State, whom she had heard years ago had secretly murdered Oscar's life, which had caused the well-educated and dignified Duchess to curse in spite of herself. She had even considered hiring "professionals" to deal with the threat once and for all, but of course her husband had prevented her from doing so.
The Duchess loved each and every one of the children of the House of Anru, and the fact that she had only one child of her own did not diminish her love. Only Oscar, the son born to the Duke by that Princess, was the most like his father of the four boys of the House of Anru, headstrong, strong, and precocious, and at the very time when he needed care the most one realized that he was already caring for his little sister! Celia, like the other two duchesses, was filled with guilt over this youngest son.
Oscar's team of horses halted neatly in front of the gates of No. 31, Avenue Penelope, and the cavalry of the capital division drove away the crowd that had come to see what was going on.
Oscar dismounted, followed by Viscount Gorbacondo and Countess Antonie Holman, and then by the Viscountess Gorbacondo and the Countess Antonie Holman. Countess Homan, and then behind them the swindler posing as Baron Eber, the poison doctor under the name of Parker, the blizzard that became Paul, and at the end, the maids of honor who were a little short of eyes from their first foray into such a splendid metropolis.
Oscar surveyed the building before him curiously; he had long forgotten what home looked like. The gates stood open, and inside two rows of attendant-like men saluted him respectfully, then they scattered, they obviously hadn't expected the young lord to have so much luggage, and they crowded around the carriages, not knowing which one to start with first, Oscar watched it all with some amusement, letting Antonie worry about it herself!
Something seemed to be happening inside the gates, Oscar thought he heard a woman's call, and then he saw a white cloud rush out of the front door of the main building of the residence!
Buffy's knights dismounted in droves, and they dropped to one knee, offering the most humble of courtesies to this white cloud. Tic Tac bowed his head, and then the Liar, the Poison Doctor, Blizzard, and the Maids of Honor all recognized the White Cloud's dignity and bowed to her as well.
The white cloud stopped when it reached Oscar's face. Oskar saw that the white cloud's face was cloudy. For the last year Oscar had been fantasizing about meeting his beautiful little princess, and he had prepared countless words to please his little sister, but now Oscar realized that he could do nothing but tremble.
Oscar saw Sasha's tears, and he wanted to cry too! But the damn poison doctor had destroyed his tear ducts in one of his visits to him. Oscar did cry! No one saw his tears though. Oscar never knew that the meeting he had been looking forward to for so long could be this painful. It was! Oscar felt his heart being brutally ripped out by an invisible force and he choked a little. No one knew what tremendous feelings he harbored for his sister. It was the only thing that kept him alive in the dark watery prison.
Sasha was crying! She was crying out! Crying at the top of her lungs! Crying like a mess! No one knew what tremendous feelings she harbored for her brother. It was the only thing that kept her smiling in front of people. Ten years ago, when her brother was taken away by the Konohagakure she cried in unmitigated terror! Probably cried even worse than she did now! But she remembered clearly what her brother had said to her. Brother said, "Don't be a naughty little girl anymore! Take care of yourself after brother leaves! Write down the names of the people who bullied you in the fairy tale book that brother gave you, and wait for brother to come back to avenge you!"
Her brother's words were in her ears, but Sasha had felt guilty for ten years for those words, if it wasn't for herself, her brother wouldn't be in jail, she had to make herself strong! She was going to make all the people afraid to bully her! She was going to make her brother see a Sasha who wouldn't cry. But Sasha was a little chagrined! She had planned to show her brother her best smile, but things didn't work out the way she thought they would, and she was still as worthless in front of him. Sasha's eyes were clouded over with tears, but she tried hard not to close them, she had to look at her brother! To look at him like this forever from now on!
Oscar finally touched Sasha! In fact he hugged Sasha the moment he saw her! It was just a long process, Oskar felt as if a lifetime had passed. He hugged his sister tightly with his not-so-long arms! He wasn't sure it was Sasha, he hadn't known how his sister's appearance had changed in ten years, but he just wanted to embrace the girl! The girl calmed down in her brother's embrace, the embrace that was still warm and still affectionate after ten years of absence.
The girl lifted her head, and in a hoarse voice she said something that made Oscar almost faint.
Sashay. Netagapo. Ms. Anru said, "Brother! You've lost weight!"
Oscar went home! The truth is that 31 Via Penelope is not really his home, it's just a place given by His Majesty the Emperor to Dortmund. Anru. The Duke of Netagabo's residence in the capital. The Duke never came back to Turin after the arrest of his youngest son.
The Duchess of Anne Roux, Celia. Anru. Netagabo recognized Oscar at once. The little fat man seemed unchanged, except that her ladyship noticed the most important thing, his eyes! The sparkle in his eyes resembled that of his father, the Duke had honed the divine light in his eyes through countless battles, and Oscar? Good heavens! He was still a boy! What had he been through in Domolga.
Celia embraced Oscar and kissed his forehead, "Welcome home! Dear Oscar!"
"Yes! Thank you! Mama Celia!" Oscar smiled affectionately at the lady.
"Sa ...... Sasha! Did you hear that? OMG! Oscar called me mom! Did you ...... you hear that? I didn't even think he recognized me!" The lady's surprise was understandable. Oscar used to be a child full of rebellion! He had never shown respect for any of his father's other wives, let alone called them mom.
Oscar was a little amused at the Duchess's fuss! He embraced the lady, his tone flat but full of genuine affection. "Are you surprised, mom? Oh la! How could I not remember you? You scrubbed my mother's body when she was very ill, you covered our room with fresh daffodils, and you were the one who stayed by my side all those nights after my mother's death, when I unkindly refused your kindness, and seemed to say some very hurtful things, oh! Forgive me, I have been deeply remorseful for those acts of that year! Will you forgive me?"
Madame had sobbed uncontrollably! She wanted to cry out Oscar's name, but she kept on choking; she could do nothing; her feelings were full of joy but implied deep sorrow! Oscar had grown up! Truly grown up! Who could blame a child of five, who could be blamed for what happened back then? But it was they who were the elders who owed it to people!
Madame once more surveyed her youngest son, whom she had not seen for ten years; she was not ashamed of having lost her temper in front of people; no one could laugh at a mother! Madame caressed Oscar's face. She said, "My God! Have those fellows in Domolga been abusing you, you have lost so much weight!"
Oscar is now a little tearful, he looks around at the snickering liar and poison doctor and can't help but think back to his childhood, Oscar asks himself "Was I really that fat?"
"Allow me to introduce you to these friends of mine! This gentleman is Baron Eber, sent by his father, and this is Mr. Parker, who is my physician! And Paul, who is my bodyguard. Antonie you have long been acquainted with! And these lovely ladies-in-waiting of mine, who were all originally ladies of high rank, and who, though they came from Domolga, are all clean." Oscar pushed all of them in front of his mother like an offering."
"Greetings, you all! Thank you for taking care of my little boy." The Duchess saluted them very respectfully.
The people were a bit flustered; the Duchess of Anru's status was almost less honorable than the Queen's. They hurriedly bowed back to the madam. This madam was really just like the rumors said, beautiful, noble, and respectable!
Under the guidance of the waiter the crowd entered the dining room, which was so large that it looked like a product of the Morrissette Dynasty's last royal emperor's reign. The interior decoration of that time made high use of space, the dome on the dining room was engraved with allusions to the Illuminati, the crystal lamps inlaid on the four walls were exquisite, and the full set of red pine furniture emitted a soft wood fragrance, all of which made the entire dining room look incomparably neat and elegant.
Fifteen chairs were placed on each side of the dining table. Thirty sets of sterling silver tableware glittered with eye-catching light, whether it was dinner plates or knives and forks, these tableware were strikingly engraved with the Anlu family crest, which indicated that the owner would only use it during festivals or when entertaining important guests.
Sashay. Netagabo. Miss Anru always had her arm draped around her brother's body, and at the table Oscar was about to remind his sister that she should let go appropriately, but the little lady stopped him with a look before the words left her mouth. Oscar stroked his sister's head dotingly, and since she liked it, let her be!
The food was sumptuous! There was Oscar's favorite Italian cuisine, big people have some extravagant hobbies, Oscar was fond of the seafood pizza and the Italian macaroni with olives and fresh shrimps. The Duchess herself went to the famous restaurant on the rue de la Carrule Mura to get the fresh ingredients. The Duchess personally ordered these fresh ingredients from the famous Italian restaurant on the Rue de la Carrule.
Oscar was excited, he hadn't felt this way in a long time, he hadn't felt this relaxed in a long time with his crooked butler, his physician, his lover, his maid, his bodyguard, these were the people closest to him, and now that he had his mother and his sister, he hadn't felt this relaxed in a long time. He kept talking about some of the things he had seen in Domolga and the jokes that were used to liven up the atmosphere. The Duchess was also having a good time, she was amused by Oscar on several occasions and laughed out loud, such an image was not in line with her honorable status, but when it came to treating her family, Celia never had any reservations.
The only one who remained silent was Sashay. The little miss didn't want to share her brother with anyone, she held his arm, ate all those foods that he loved and watched him carefully shelling crabs for himself, she wasn't satisfied with that, she needed a chance to be alone with him and when she did she would prove to him that she still loved, trusted and depended on him as much as she did! She would show her brother that her feelings had remained the same after all these years.
Oscar knew he was a bit oblivious, he wasn't usually like this, he regained his composure as soon as Lady Celia was invited to the drawing room by her housekeeper, what was meant to be would always be! A competent butler would not disturb his master while he was dining if it were not a momentous event.
Celia soon returned. Her smile was casual, but Oscar could tell that there was a hidden worry between her brows as the lady took her seat at her main table, she took a sip of her wine and Oscar was in no hurry, he knew that his mother didn't have any reason to keep things from him.
"His Majesty the Emperor has finally made a move." Celia paused, she kept an eye on Oscar for a moment, she was satisfied that the boy did not look uneasy or fearful in any way.
