Flora's POV I woke up slowly, drifting out of a deep sleep. The room was still dark, but a faint gray light was just starting to show at the edges of the window curtains. At first, I couldn't remember why my bed felt so warm, or why the air smelled like expensive cologne and cedarwood. Then, I shifted under the sheets, and I felt something hard poking right against my thigh. Memory came back to me all at once. I froze, my eyes snapping wide open. Eugene.
