Chapter 11

April POV

After we finished shopping my feet were killing me and I was ready to sit for a while. We went to a nearby Italian restaurant. He ordered spaghetti and meatballs. While I got the chicken parmesan. The food was delicious, and we had a wonderful time discussing the Luna ceremony. Before we know it, it is almost 8pm. We decided to head home. Home that is a funny thing to hear from me. I have never felt like I had a home, but when I am with Justin it feels like I am right where I belong.

I rushed upstairs to prepare. I took a quick shower and slipped on a pink teddy and matching thong. I climb on the bed and pose in my most seductive pose. I hope he won’t be long.

I went to wait for him on our bed, hoping he loved his surprise. I waited for about a half an hour, but he still has not come to the room. I was starting to get a little worried. So, I grabbed the robe that we had just got me and walked out to find him. But what I found was a total surprise for me.

Justin POV

We came home and noticed Declan’s scent radiating through the house. I hope April didn’t pay attention when she ran upstairs. She has finally begun to open to me. I followed the stench, and it led me to my office. I better make this quick. April said she had a surprise for me. I open the door and see he is sitting at my desk. I mind linked Jared and tell him to hurry to my office.

“What are you doing back here?” I asked him. “I am here for my mate. I know she is here. I smelt her all over and your office.” He retorts with annoyance in his voice. “The only smell of a female in this office is my Luna. Never would I have another woman here or in my bed.” I made a snide comment, and I am pretty sure he caught what I meant because he looks like a pup caught in the cookie jar. It has been about forty-five minutes since I and April got home. Jared joined me in my office about half an hour ago. Jared sent me a mind link asking what we should do since Declan is refusing to leave without April. Which will never happen. She is mine. Just then the door opens to reveal April in just a robe and slippers. “WHAT THE f**k IS THIS?” she screamed. She turned and ran away. I went to get up, but Declan was outside the door before I got around my desk. I see him run up the stairs, darting toward the 5th floor.

Declan POV

I waited for what felt like forever. I finally heard them pull up around 8:30 and hear tiny feet running through the foyer. I can tell from the scent that it is April. I wonder where she is going, but I didn’t have time to find out. Just as I went to stand up Alpha Justin walked in. “What are you doing back?” he asked me. “ Know you have her. I can smell her scent all over you and this office.” As I continue “I am here for my mate, April. I will not leave without her.” I retorted stand tall in my exclamation. “She is no longer your mate. You rejected her and her wolf accepted on her behalf because you broke her so bad that she didn’t want to continue to live.” He yelled at me. “Also, the scent you smell is indeed April’s being as I would never have another woman in my office or my bed, now that I have found my forever mate.” He stated and I knew exactly what he meant. I never should have taken Ashley to bed once I knew who my mate was, but I am not going to give up that easily on her.

The next thing I know she comes through the door wearing nothing but a pink robe and slippers with a two-inch heel on it. She looks so beautiful. Her hair is in waves down her back. She is wearing no makeup. But when she sees me, she freezes and screams at me. “WHAT THE f**k IS THIS?” I watch as she runs back out of the room. I got up before Justin could and went to find her. I followed her sent to the 5th floor.

I couldn’t initially figure out where she went because her scent was all over the floor. I began searching room by room. Until her smell became overwhelming, and I knew she was in the last room on the right. I burst through the door.
