Forever Betrayed

Chapter 8

April POV

I woke to the sun beaming into the window, blinding me. I tried to get up to close the curtain, which is when I realized that there was a heavy arm around my waist. I slowly picked up his arm to slide out. Just as I almost made it up from the bed, the long arms wrapped around me again. Justin pulled me back on the bed on top of him. "five more minutes babe." he plead. "I have to pee." I retorted. He was still not letting me up. I looked around shyly and did the only thing of which I could think. I kissed him. This shocked Justin as he opened his eyes. He finally came to his senses and gave me the most beautiful smile I have ever seen.

He finally let me up so I could go freshen up. When I returned, I was shocked to find that the room was empty. I was hit with a lot of sadness suddenly. I did not understand these feelings. When there was a knock at the door, he came back. "Why do you look like you are about to cry?" Justin asked. I replied, "I thought you left me!" Justin looked at me with sympathy in his eyes. He grabbed my hand and gently placed a kiss on the palm of my hands.

"I will never leave you; I promise." He told me. "Are you ready to meet your new pack?" I was nervous because what if they do not like me and I am right back into being abused. I very slowly started to pack up the little bit she owned. I grabbed his hand and expressed my concerns over going to the pack. "I will never let you be hurt by anyone. If anyone even tries there will be hell to pay.”

Justin POV

I woke up the next morning to Jared mind linking me. “I have the information you wanted.” He said. I slowly picked up April’s leg and slid out from under her.

I walked down to my office and Jared met me there. He sat down in the chair in front of me as I sat at my desk. “I found out all the information I could on April. The Alpha, Declan, was her first mate and he along with several of his friends would bully the Luna every day. She was despised by the whole pack, including her parents.” Jared informed me.

My blood begins to boil. My beloved should have never had to go through that. Hell, no she-wolf should. He continues to give me information on Declan. He has been involved with the pack slut, Ashley. He has been looking for April. I contemplate telling him to stop. I will talk to April before I make the decision.

Once Jared had given me all the information, he had I headed back to our room. I see a sight I never want to see again. April is on the verge of crying. I quickly walked to her. “What is wrong beautiful?” I ask with concern laced in my voice. “I thought you left me.” She sniffles. I wrap my arms around her. “I will never leave you, my love.” I tightened my arms around her. She buries her face into my chest, and she begins to relax. “I had to deal with something with Jared. You were still asleep, and I did not want to disturb you.” I say as I kiss the top of her head.

I informed her that I had Jared investigate the Dark Forest pack. She looked up at me scared. “Will you be sending me back to them?” She pleaded not to be sent back. “Sweetheart I will never leave you or let you leave me.” She seemed relieved with what I said. I am so upset that she is this scared to go back to her original pack. I picked her up and asked if she wanted to get breakfast. She nods with a yawn. I carried her to the kitchen and sat her on the counter. “What would you like for breakfast?” I asked her. “Do we have pancakes?” “Of course, we do.” I chuckled before turning towards the pantry to grab the things needed. But before I could move April wrapped her legs around my waist. She giggles when I turn around and kiss the side of her neck that I will be marking hopefully soon. She tightened her legs even more around my waist. I look up and get lost in her sea foam green eyes. I can see my future in her eyes. She placed her hand on my cheeks and leant in. As soon as our lips touched, it was like fireworks. I nipped at her lower lip, which caused her to moan against my mouth. I took this opportunity to deepen my kiss as I grabbed her back and pulled her closer to me. The kiss was starting to affect my member. Just then Jared walked clearing his throat. April became embarrassed and dropped her head to my chest giggling like a schoolgirl.
