April POV
After we decided on the date for the Luna ceremony, I wanted to surprise Justin. So, I went and got a shower and shaved every possible spot I could. Justin wants to take me out to dinner and to take me to buy new clothes and things I need. So, we went to the mall first to buy me new clothes as all the ones I had were pieces I found in the trash at the Dark Forest pack. They were tattered and were even torn. Trust me, Justin let me know how he felt about the caring that I lacked. I walked to the dresser and found one of my sexy lingerie. It was a black sheer number. I showed off all my curves in the right places. It had matching fishnet stockings and two holsters to hold them up. I contemplated on wearing underwear, which I chose to. I walked to the closet and found a wardrobe of dresses. There were all kinds, from mini dresses to maxi dresses, dinners finest to ballroom gowns. I opted for a blue maxi dress with three-quarter length arms that flared out. There were also all types of shoes. I grabbed the first pair of blue shoes, which happens to be stilettos.
We arrived at the mall about half an hour later. We walked in the first store, and it had dresses of all designs. They had everything from sundresses to ball gowns. I found a few that I really liked. I found a gorgeous red knee length dress with a V-neckline and a slit that went up the right thigh. I also got a pink sundress that is floor-length. Lastly, I got this short little black dress that as soon as Justin saw it, he became excited.
The next store we went to was a lingerie store. I found lots of cute baby doll pieces, but one stood out above the rest. It was a bright red corset top with lacy thongs and a sheer robe begging me to bring it home. We bought two more lingerie sets for me. We headed to the regular bra section. We searched for push up bras in my size, but they didn’t have any. So, I found some water push up bras. I grabbed all the ones in my size. I also got a few sports bras, for exercising or training, if Justin allows it. I laugh to myself
I also found a brand-new pair of shoes that were red platform wedges. They added a good three inches to my height. I was able to find more shoes that were my style, you know, like tennis shoes. I got two pairs of skate shoes, one all black and one white with black.
We then went to a*****e that carried casual clothes. I got a few pairs of pants, shorts, t-shirts, workout gear, and tank tops. I needed new underwear. We went into a*****e called secrets. I didn’t realize it was a porn shop. We walked around trying to find underwear but the only kind we found was edible. My face became bright red. We left not getting anything, so we went to Victoria Secrets. There I found an abundance of boy short underwear that I love. They came in all kinds of colors and patterns.
Declan POV
They really kicked me out of their house. I could smell April’s scent all over him. I wanted to growl at him, but I didn’t want to start a war without proof. I will be back later tonight. Justin’s Bata made sure I left the land before turning around and leaving me just at the border. I waited until Jared was out of view, and I didn’t see any warrior wolves reenter.
I have finally found April, and he was hiding her from me. Why would he hide her from me, unless she told him about the abuse, we gave her. That would be the only reason.
I want her back and I will get her. I wait until I see Jared leave when I smell the most delectable smell. It is April’s scent. I look around as I search for her, but she is nowhere to be seen.
What is she doing here and why does it feel like she has free reign of the pack house. I can hear some of the maids talking about how excited they are for the Luna ceremony.
So, Justin has found his mate. Good for him I thought. Hopefully he treats her better than I did my mate.
It has been about an hour, and I have been sitting in Justin’s office. I am surprised that no one noticed me. But it seems that they are all preparing for his Luna to be officially sworn in.
Justin POV
I am excited to get away with April for a little. I am worried that Declan could smell April, and she asked if we could not tell him until after I mark her. I have a bad feeling about us meeting this morning.
I could tell from the look on his face that he was determined to find her.
