Chapter 6

April POV

The next morning, we woke up and we ordered breakfast. Once we were done eating, he says to me “Are you ready to go to your new home?” I slowly nod and give him a small smile.

We drove 20 minutes to his pack land. Justin sat in the back as Jared drove us back. I held his hand and my grip got tighter as we got closer. He patted the back of my hand. We passed a large field with wildflowers growing and in the center of field there was a nice size pond. I wonder what it will feel like to be able to swim in the pond and be able to lay I am the beautiful wildflowers without repercussions. When we finally arrived in front of the house. Correction the mansion. I looked up in amazement. It had five floors with big bay windows in what I guess was the living room. Once the car came to a stop Justin got out first and held his hand out for me to take. I noticed many people standing near the entrance. I got very nervous seeing everyone standing there. I fear what they will do to me.

When we made it to the entrance everyone seemed happy that I was there. "Luna welcome." said a little girl came over and outstretched her hand with a bundle of flowers. I blushed as I took the flowers. I have never been welcomed anywhere. I was confused as to why she called me Luna. The little girl quicky hugged my legs. I look at Justin with confusion in my eyes . Justin then made an announcement. "Our Luna is tired from her long trip. We will hold a dinner feast for everyone to meet her" "Understood Alpha" the group of people said in unison.

I am shocked to learn my second chance mate was their Alpha. We entered the main foyer, and it was more impressive than the outside. The ceiling was at least fifteen feet high. There was a brilliant chandelier hanging in the center. To the left was the living room was living room and to the right was a giant door that led to the dining room. Looking ahead was a giant double staircase. There are so many stairs I groan.

Justin looked at me and told me that they are on the fifth floor, they have it all to themselves. I looked at the staircase again and I became exhausted just looking at all the stairs. Next to me Justin chuckled and took my hand. He led me to the center of the staircase at which time I realized that it was an elevator. "Thank god." I thought to myself.

We arrived on the fifth floor, and I looked up and down the hall to see about ten rooms. In the center was a double door which led to the master suite. We walked in and I was a bit overwhelmed. The room had been painted in neutral colors of beige and cream. There was a giant bed that was in the center of the room. To the right was a giant walk in the closet and a door that led to the bathroom.

Justin POV

I began to take April around the house. I start in the living room and dining room. I showed her to the library and where my office is. I showed her every floor. I went to take her to Jared’s office when I heard the distinctive sound of him and his mate getting busy. I looked at her and laughed. “We cannot go in here. Jared’s mate must have been missing him. She chucked along with me.

We continued the tour. I finally took her to the fifth floor; she looked up and down the hall. “Where is my room?” she asked. “I was hoping you would stay here with me. She looks a little apprehensive. April agreed but under one condition. “We will not have s*x until I am ready.” I look at her with adoration in my eyes. “Love I would never pressure you to do something you don’t want to do.” I told her.

She started walking around the room inspecting it. Jared has just arrived with her bags. He scared her because she jumped at the sound of his voice. She starts to shake. I rush over to her and wrap my arms around her. Her instantly relax at my touch. “I am so sorry Luna. I did not mean to startle you. I will try better next time to announce my arrival,” Jared said with sincerity. “I am sorry that I am so jumpy. I am not used to people caring about me and my feelings. I thought you were coming to attack.” She said to Jared. “Never Luna. It is my job to protect you and Justin. “Jared told April. She smiled at him. “Thank you, Jared.” I say
