AM I DEAD
I feel it before I open my eyes. The empty void. Opening my eyes it is as if I didn’t even try. Everything around me is pitch-black nothingness. I feel my body in the sitting position with my legs crossed and my hands resting on my lap. Just floating around the bleak emptiness.
Suddenly I am feel my body being pulled forward. I see a dim light up ahead of me. As it gets closer I can see a dark figure outlined in the dim light. As I get closer, I can see the figure, like me, is sitting cross-legged. The gets brighter the closer I get. Seemingly filling the void I once occupied. As I draw closer still I can see that the figure is a girl. She has dark hair like me and a similar build. She has her eyes closed and seems asleep.
