“Alpha! Alpha! Urgent news: The Cold Moon Pack is under attack by about 80 rogue wolves! They’ve just crossed the border and are headed towards the pack house!”
One of my guards came sprinting down the corridor, his panicked voice pulling me out of my thoughts.
“Beta couldn’t reach you, so he’s already taken a squad to support the Cold Moon pack house.”
