I watched as Roxana's eyes narrowed in concentration while I explained the business case to her. Her focus was impressive—she absorbed information quickly, asking questions that showed genuine understanding rather than mere politeness.
"So what do you think happened to this company?" I asked, testing her comprehension.
Roxana tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "I think they failed because they were too confident and stubborn. They refused to change with the market." She looked up at me, her eyes bright with conviction. "They had been successful for so long that they couldn't imagine failing. That arrogance blinded them to the warning signs until it was too late."
