The first conference room at Aura Enterprises featured floor-to-ceiling windows along one side, offering a breathtaking view of New York City. Not that anyone seated at the long mahogany table was appreciating the scenery. My executives sat rigid in their chairs, faces tense as I fired questions at them one after another.
"The Q3 numbers for the European division," I said, my voice cutting through the silence. "They're down fifteen percent from projections. Explain."
