(Roxana's POV)
Before returning to the hotel, Tristan had cleverly obtained my contact information. He claimed his phone was dead and needed to borrow mine to make a call.
I pretended not to understand his little trick. I handed him my phone obediently.
When I heard his phone ring in his pocket, I acted surprised. "Oh! Your phone isn't dead after all."
He grinned sheepishly. "Must have had some battery left."
I tried to steer the conversation toward the man in the car. "That gentleman earlier seemed very distinguished. Is he a friend of yours?"
"Julian? He's like a big brother from the neighborhood," Tristan said casually. "Our families have known each other forever."
