I had Rose in my arms keeping her calm she has been crying a lot since we found out there was twins and that stupid Alpha told us his plans for them will be the same as ours, no way in hell will I let him do this to our pups I will save us before they are born I just got to make my plan when screaming came from above us and outside. Running can be heard from everywhere and I can smell fear mixed with. My pack members smoke is weak from the shot they gave me and he is also giving snow strength too protect Rose and our pups so I can’t link no one but I know my pack is outside with other wolves I don’t know. Rose is shacking harder for the fear of our pack. “Dex! They need to run before they get killed.” The smell of blood fills my nose. I start getting more worried about my pack. Dammit! Rose stirs in my arms calming us both down I give a light squeeze and kiss her forehead when loud bangs are heard down the hall. I feel her fear in my embrace me. “I love you Rose!”  when wolves race to us I will kill until I can’t no more. Even if I can’t use my wolf, getting ready to protect my love and our pups with one last kiss the doors are ripped from the hinges of our cell I stand pushing Rose behind me, looking up to see “Josh!” “my Alpha I’m sorry we took so long to come rescue you and our Luna.” Bowing his head in respect I run to my friend engulfing him in a hug then turning to other members with a proud smile for my pack. “thank you all for risking your lives to come get us, you all make me very proud!” “well Dex if I might add we haven’t gotten you out yet so let’s go before it’s too late I can tell your unable to defend yourself at the moment. Ray has informed me your Smoke is giving our Luna strength so you can’t use him. We will protect you until we are off this land stay in the middle of us please Alpha. Do not try to fight it might result in you killing yourself and Rose.” With a nod I pick Rose up and we make our way out of the pack house. The battle is still going strong when a few wolves see us they get ready to attack us when wolves I don’t know jump over us to protect us. I look at Josh in confusion. “I’ll explain when you are safe.”  With that we rush to the boarder. Looking around I see nine black wolves attacking one. They are not normal size, so I know they are all Alpha’s. where in the world did, they all come from? They are shredding the middle wolf bit by bit while their I’m guessing Betas keep them from being attacked. We get to the end of the boarder and almost to safety when the man who held a knife to my mates’ neck was kneeling down in front of us with his head down in submission. “I am not here to fight only to ask Rose to forgive me before I die. I didn’t know what his purpose was until I came back with you two, I waited for him to release my son from the cells in return only to get his dead beaten dehydrated body.” A tear fell from his eye as he quickly wiped it away. I seen him before strong and powerful a Beta. Now in front of me I see a broken wolf, lost. “state your name!” “Mike.” “Mike, you will not die today. If you pledge, your life and loyalty to Rose. Until our pups are born then you will be their protector until your death.” “I do. I Mike former Beta of the blood red pack, pledge my life to protect Rose Luna of the silver wolf pack. And the future pups she carries until my end of days, with my life!” with that he sliced his palm I doing the same and bond him to me as a guard to my Luna then my pups. Pulling him to stand we walk to safety. Not resting until we made it home with a warm greeting from all our pack members. Josh sent Mark back with a few other fighters to collect our pack and invite the others back here for a celebration. Josh explained everything he did to get help from other packs telling me the story of how packs hated Lucas and believed him to be a traitor and breaker of the code. So, they wanted to kill him and did not want us to interfere. So here we are safely home while a nurse is checking Rose and the pups out, they gave us a shot to help push out the poison they gave us with the help from Mike telling us what we needed. I sensed them entering our pack, so I greeted them with a welcoming smile for saving me and my mate.

I lay there on the table while I see my pups on the screen, I am so happy I wanted Dex to see them to, but he had to greet the other Alpha’s who helped us. Tears slip from my eyes as I am happy, they are healthy snow has talked to me here or there saying she is supporting my body for twin pups. Their little heart beats are just thumping, like my joy.  In less then two months they will be here with us, looking at the elder nurse who is also smiling. They really love Dex!
