“Your wife is very fierce.” Ethan said as he joined me at the bar. Since he told me about Gianna’s presence earlier, I hadn't been able to concentrate. It was so bad that Bailey got angry and cut the outing short. After that, I told Ethan to meet me at the club where we could talk properly.
He had never met Gianna but he knew all about her. He knew enough that he was able to recognize her at a glance.
“You talked with her?” I questioned. There was no reason for him to approach her. “And she's not my wife, she's my ex.”
