New start

As I loaded up my car, my brother and Jordan walked out to say goodbye. Be safe and please come back alive. On that note I rolled my eyes and loaded up. Off on a four-hour drive. Once, I stop for gas and lunch. I realized I was making great time. Then the moon goddess crossed my mind again. But Rain was so happy with her head out the window she made inside my head would really talk much. Normally she never shuts up. Ugh.

Once at the gate, the guard asks me who I am and who I'm looking for. My reply was I'm your new pack doctor. Dr. Brayden Diaz and Beta Christopher sent for me. They both look more relaxed because I didn't say I'm your Luna Amy, I'm here to eat your brains. As if I'm walking dead around here. As they call Beta, he comes down 15 minutes later. I followed

him to pack to the hospital. He then shows me around it and tells me I'll be staying in pack hospital housing. The building next to pack house and hospital. It takes me to my own apartment basically. Like a one-bedroom loft-still apartment. With big walk-in closet in my own bathroom. Washer and dryer. As he then tells me, you have your own cleaning crew as well and they clean your place. We like our doctors not to have to worry about keeping the house clean when they are busy most day and night.

This pack is huge. My sister never really talks much about their pack. In fact, the only person I knew was Beta Christopher. I just smiled at him. Then I realized I probably looked dorky. Out of being weird, I out of nowhere told him how funny it was. My sister thought we would be mates. He just blinks at me. Then I asked why I thought that was funny. Of course, you're not a bad looking dude. Then I knew my face was red. He just laughed. It's OK, I knew Luna Amy was trying to set us up. She talked about you all the time. I didn't know you two were twins though. Huh, my sister never told anyone we were twins. On that note, my heart hurt a little. Rain was sad too.

Once Beta left. I was then feeling alone. Normally, that doesn't bother me so much. But I was in a new place and realized my sister looked at me like a gray wolf too. Man, I can't catch a break. I got everything unpacked. It's about dinner time. My first shift is tomorrow morning. I decided to walk around town and buy some things and grab food. It felt weird. Everyone was watching me and whispering. I don't know how many times I have told people I'm not Luna Amy, I'm her sister Dr. Brayden. They then looked glad I wasn't going to eat them. Once, I grabbed my food to go, so I didn't have to explain to more people I'm not a zombie or their Luna. I was ready to hide in my room. Watch some movies before bed. Message Jordan and my brother. I was here safe and sound. That I had my own place. How weird it was to walk in the shadow of a beloved dead Luna. Once I checked in, I took another shower. Went to bed.
