The Alpha

Once I was up and going in the morning. Found myself wondering who our mate was. It wasn't until after lunch I found my answer. Beta Chris came walking into my exam room. I heard someone walking in behind him. Looking up to see blue eyes from last night. Then what rain said last night made sense. Chris looked at us both then started talking. Alpha Alexander. This is Dr. Brayden Diaz. Luna's twin sister. Doctor, this is alpha Alexander. Then it hit me as to why he left last night. Beta Chris never told him I was Amy's twin. Until now. Nice to meet you. I'm sorry for Beta Chris not telling you who I was before, today Alpha.

His smile damn near knocked me off my feet. His smell took over the room. The only thing I wanted to do was kiss him and never stop. Rain was drooling over him no problem. Beta looks like he is enjoying this. Finely as they make their way around the rest of the hospital. All I kept thinking about was how I was going to get Alpha's clothes off him. Ugh, the mate pull is a strong pull.

Once I was back at my place. All Rain wanted to talk about fun we could have with him. I decided to block her out because, at the end of the day, this was my dead twin sister's husband. Like who would do that right? It is not unusual for werewolves to be mated to twins. Ugh, what was I to do now? I never wanted a mate to begin with. I guess try to stay away from him as much as possible.

Rain found that thought funny. She just wants to run around and have lots of pups with him. "Wouldn't it be fun?" She says. Tall blonde-hair-blue-eyed demigod like wolf. Never again can we be in a room by ourselves. Once I got Rain to calm down. We finished our day out. The last patient was done, I decided I needed dinner. Looking at the clock, the dining room was still serving food. Made my way over to the next building. Sam and Beta Chris waved me over to where they were sitting.

Sitting down and listening to everyone's day. Trying to decide if I should go for a run or head to bed early. That amazing smell hits me again. O why me. I never asked for any of this. I realized it would be smart of me not to say too much.

Alpha Alexander then sits right next to me. Didn't ask, just sat down. I should have known he was going to sit there wherever Beta Chris sits.

So I try not to let it bother me. I finished eating once I was about to take off. Alpha asked " how was my day and if everyone was treating me well?"

Of course, that caught me off guard. Everyone else was watching me now. So I decided I couldn't just ignore the question. Reply with short answers. It was fine and no one had anymore issues with me being there.

Which I guess my answers weren't short enough to keep him from asking more questions. Like what I meant by people having issues with me being here. So now I feel weird explaining why everyone looked at me like I rose from the ground. Like a scene from The Walking Dead.

Must have been the way I said it. Because everyone started laughing. Even Alpha, then he replied," that's what I was thinking when I first saw you myself. So you can't really blame them. Once that was off my chest, the room seemed to relax more. I wasn't in flight mode anymore. Mostly because I hadn't noticed Alpha's leg was rubbing up next to mine. To help claim my anxiety. Rain was in purring mode from then on. She is in heaven with everything. Once out of my shell. Everything went smoothly. Jokes and all. I noticed Chris was watching us from across the table. I wonder if he knows about Alpha and me being mates or is he still trying to figure that out. With that, I stood up and told everyone good night.
