Dzhan The dean refuses to make the switch. I don’t use my compulsion on him to make things happen. Finally I offer to split the job between me and Jaia, but the man is adamant that he’s not going to interfere again. It takes everything I have not to snap and do something else I will regret. I promised to control myself though and I am not going to fall on that promise at the first hardship. Instead, I leave the office and go looking for Jaia.
