NORTH Slender fingers wrapped around a throat like the body of a snake. His throat. My brothers sorrowful eyes cried out to me in a way his voice never could. Those dark irises held more meaning that a sound to break the silence could ever hope to. They said, I love you. They said, I'm sorry. They said, Save me. But there was nothing I could do.
