It is dark and stormy night.
The streetlights are flickering.
Eloise is carefully riding her bicycle because the ground is slippery.
It's already late when she and Eloise decided to end their conversation. She felt that Eva can help her find Iris and answer her suspicion about Alfred. What happened a while ago shocked her to know that Eva is investigating them.
Boom!
She slipped on the ground when she heard a gunshot in the alley.
"Ouch!" She stand up even though her butt hurts. She walked slowly in the alley that is dark enough to see the stars. She knew it is dangerous to go nearer but when she heard groans like someone is in pain, she thought that maybe there's a person who needed help.
"Ahh! Oh Sh*t!" She startled when a stray cat suddenly jumped at her way. That's when her shoe collided with a person's leg who's sitting on the ground.
As the rain stopped and the skies moved to give way for the moon to shine in the dark alley, their eyes met. Those black orbs has eerie beauty looking directly at her amber ones. She doesn't know if she shivered because her clothes are wet or because of how cold his stare at her. She recognized him.
"Are you alright?" She asked looking for any injury but he remained silent. She noticed him holding his right abdomen with his left hand.
"Sh*t." She blurted when she saw a blood in his shirt. She immediately get her handkerchief in her pocket to put pressure in his wound but he cast her hand away.
"Leave." His voice is icy and deep.
'Why is he so stubborn?'
"Stefan, please let me help you." She said determined.
She put the handkerchief in his wound and this time he let her. Their face is inches apart with each other. His jet black hair cascaded down in his forehead. 'Why is he still good-looking even though injured?' He stared at her expressionless yet she blushed.
"Please hold on for a minute, I will call the ambulance." He run to where she left her bag to get her phone. She wanted to ask him what happened to him but he's a close book so she just set aside it.
She dialed 911 and went back to where Stefan is but he's nowhere to be found.
He's gone like no one's ever been in the dark alley.
