Eanraig stared at me with wide-open eyes, his shocked face was kind of adorable, he moved himself up into a sitting position and kept staring at me, I just smiled at him confusing him more.
"What did you just say?”, he finally asked.
"You heard me, some future day I’ll be Mrs. Romulus, how does that sound?”.
He pounced on me and kissed my neck.
"Are you serious? Like you really mean it?”
"You’re behaving like a child Eanraig, I mean it”, I laughed.
"Just to be really clear you’re not just saying it so I’ll cheer up?”
I put both my hands on his cheeks and brought him low to kiss him, he put his arm underneath my waist and moved his body closer to mine.
” One day I will be Mrs. Romulus, I will stand by your side forever, do you understand?”
"I do”, he kissed my cheek, “thank you”.
