Unspoken Friendship Pt. 2

1176 Words
Whoa! Such an incredible first date! They talked about their passions but face to face this time. The expressions upon Leela's face made Romel even more attracted to her. She spoke of Mozart and Beethoven as though she was close friends with them, as though she was part of their era. Romel watched her lips, her fingers move melodically, as though she were playing the piano, all while she spoke of future plans, current goals, family, friends, and Romel followed along as though he were attending one of his favorite performers concerts. As soon as he started to speak, unveiling his passions, Leela longingly stared at Romel, hanging onto his every word. His cologne lingered on her dress from the long embrace upon seeing one another. Whoa... he's amazing. "Wow, it's been such a long time since I felt a real connection with someone so quickly and so effortlessly," Romel said as he started to stand up while extending his hand out to Leela, "Would you like to dance with me?" Leela was almost frozen from excitement and sweetly said, "I'd love to." A song played softly in the background by Donny Hathaway as Romel pulled Leela closer, with his hands gently placed on her lower back. "This is one of my favorite songs," he said right into her ear. His voice sent exhilarating chills throughout her body. She then smiled, "I really like this song as well. You have good taste in music." As the song carried on, they continued to slow dance and slowly brought their eyes to meet as they swayed. "I would...I would like to kiss you." Leela stopped swaying, looking up at Romel after he uttered those words. Her heart started to pound, her eyes started to close as Romel slowly leaned down, pressing his lips upon hers as his hand cupped the sides of her face. The passionate words spoken had poured out onto their lips as they kissed, both became lost in the moment, feeling as though time had decided to stand still for this very moment. A few notes before moving forward... 1. This is a judgment free zone. 2. This is a non-shaming zone. "Would you like to come over to my place? I just don't want this night to end so soon." "Yes!" Leela barely allowed the question to process within her mind before responding. Romel laughed as he watched Leela immediately cover up her mouth as though she blurted out the wrong answer. He moved her hands away from her mouth, interlocking his fingers with hers, "You are truly beautiful, Ms. Leela." Leela pulled Romel's face back towards hers, kissing him passionately again. "I'm ready whenever you are, Mr. Romel." The two walked hand in hand towards Romel's black Chevrolet Camaro. He was such a gentleman towards Leela, opening up every door, pulling out her chair for dinner, even holding her hand to maintain her balance while walking up and down the stairs in her high heels. He made sure Leela was comfortable in the passenger seat. Leela smiled and watched Romel walk over to the driver's side. She reached over, opening his door for him, smiling big as her eyes again met with his. He hadn't experienced such a thing before and found it to be so endearing and considerate, but he kept those thoughts to himself. While cruising along in the passenger seat, Leela looked over at Romel, "I just want you to know..." Romel interrupted, "I know that you're not that kind of woman and probably never did anything like this before. But I promise I won't do or say anything that'll make you feel uncomfortable." Leela glared, and arched her eyebrow, "No, I don't have protection, so I hope that you do...and NO I don't do things like this," she sucked her teeth and laughed. "You must have heard that so many times from women and just think it's a standardized phrase in order to avoid our real primal behavior? I don't mind owning up to my primal instincts. But know this... not just anyone will ever be able to see that side of me. I'm proud of the gold that I have between thighs. My 'cat fax' is under 3, no kids, but these are things you know already, Mr. Romel." Sigh. "Damn, I like you," Romel was at a loss for words, as he paralleled parked in front of his house, this time, running around to the passenger side to let Leela out. He was watching every move Leela made, even noticed her switching her hips a little more, as she made her way up the stairs to Romel's front door. "I love a woman in a red dress. And it's hugging your curves perfectly," Romel opened the door, allowing Leela to walk in first as he followed, grabbing her hand and immediately pulling her into a wild yet passionate kiss. He picked her up, pressed her back against the hallway wall, and wrapped her legs around his waist... I think we all know what happened... time for a fast forward. Whoa! Romel was breathing heavily "I'm...woo...im sorry for the marks I left on your neck and your shoulder and on your..." he looks down at Leela's bruised bottom. "Heat of the moment marks. I should apologize for the marks on your neck and scratches on your back." "Warrior scars. You really do have a beast inside of you." Romel couldn't hold back his smile any longer. "I would like to see you again tomorrow." "I would like that. Wait, am I being kicked out? You called me a cab or something?" Romel displayed a look of concern, "What kind of men have you been dealing with? I want you to stay the night so that I can see your face in the morning before I go meet with my Dean. And when I'm finished, which will be at 5:30pm, I want you to come by my school, park in the school garage, level B close to the elevator and I will be out." "Park in the garage? Huh?" "Yeah. I'm sure you want to shower and change your clothes, so I'm giving you the keys to my precious baby...my Camaro and I'll take the subway." "Waiiiiit... you're going to let me drive the Camaro? How do you know that I'll come back with that beauty?!" Leela held the keys in her hands tightly. "I know your name, I know how you look, I also know where you live, and you think that I'm mob or mafia affiliated." Leela blinked several times fast, "Right. Good point. Alright, then I will be at the school, level B, close to the elevator at 5:30 pm!" Though this isn't a love story, it sure seems that way and going way too perfectly like a movie. Is it all just a continuance of a first impression? A couple of months have passed now. Autumn leaves turn into snow flakes as exes start to emerge. Let's check back in on Leela and Romel. ¤
