Clarisse discreetly led the girl back to her quarters. No one asked questions even when they passed by them. Some gave them funny looks as they rushed past but that was it and Clarisse was honestly grateful. It had been woeful when she took the risk to tell Esteban that his father had a hand in the girl's release. Heaven knew how that would backfire on her when the time came. They eventually made it to the door. Clarisse pushed the door wide open and ushered her new maidservant in before shutting the door behind them. "You have to stay here." She told the girl.
