On instinct, Annabelle quickly addressed the mysterious man, “Excuse me sir, could you spare a little change for a poor homeless beggar to acquire dinner tonight? Maybe spare a drink of ale, if anything at all?" she proceeded with a polite fake smile. “Homeless you say? My name is DWight Conrad the Earl. I would be more inclined to assist you if I knew your name.” Earl replied amidst a wicked expression. “What are you the Earl of?” She responded with a disillusioned freighted composure. “Steinberg, Romania.” DWight shot back un-amused. Shocked about the mysterious man's identity Annabelle began with hesitation." Uh, yes my name is Annabelle Hellson, pardon my request I’ll be on my way." Leaving no room for escape DWight proceeded “Well now, Annabelle, what a beautiful name you have. Would it interest you to be my companion for the evening?” he questioned appearing sociable. “Sir, I am a beggar, I’m confident you don’t want to be seen with a beggar escort, and I assure you I am no brothel worker. Your generosity is appreciated however; I must decline, good evening, sir Earl of Steinberg.” Annabelle established. Turning for a haste getaway, Annabelle received a harsh squeeze around her waist. The Earl had wrapped his arm around her mid section, crushing her ribs as he began barreling towards an abandoned carriage. Fear gripped her heart, Anna knew she would have to fight to stay alive, if she didn’t fight she would not survive. In this treacherous situation fighting was not an option. As DWight squeezed tighter Anna let out a small whimper almost tripping as he shoved her towards an abandoned carriage. “You are coming with me, what a lovely time we'll have once we reach our home, your new home." DWight proclaimed. “Please, Earl leave me here, you have no use of me, I'll only be an added burden!" Annabelle frantically pleaded. “I’ll have plenty of use out of you; don't tell me what use I have of you!" The Earl's tone turned sharp and demanding. "I'm just a beggar; I have nobody to fulfill a ransom! Let GO OF ME! YOU HAVE MISTAKEN ME FOR ANOTHER LADY!" Annabelle screamed out with desperation seeking someone, anyone hoping they would come to her aid. Annabelle began thrashing about swinging her open limbs, freely landing any blow that might weaken the Earl's grasp. Creating a disturbance by throwing her body side to side, tripping over pebbles and swinging her head back and forth, still, no Good Samaritan appeared. No such luck would accommodate her attempts to freedom. "THERES NO POINT IN STRUGGLING OR SCREAMING SHUT UP BEGGAR!" DWight boomed, with one swift movement his heavy fist smashed into Annabelle’s head. The force of the blow rendered Annabelle unconscious; her body fell limp. Dwight watched Anna’s body drop, swiftly he tossed her over his broad shoulders. Once they reached the carriage DWight heartlessly planted her unconscious body directly in the center of the seating bench. Several moments passed before Annabelle breeched consciousness, moving herself into an upright seating position she dare not move, “Have you no heart.” Annabelle whispered weakly in efforts to bring him into a sane mind set. “Would you have come if I didn’t just force you to come?” The Earl demanded in a hushed growl. “No! Of, course not.” Anna said quietly, praying he would snap out of his rage. “Please, I beg you, stop this carriage, and please release me. I promise I won’t tell a soul I swear it.” Annabelle sobbed, pleading for mercy from her capture. DWight starred in silence at her; from the expression covering his face Anna knew it was hopeless. Suddenly, the carriage turned sharply to the right, hitting a pile of debris sending Anna off the bench crashing down onto the floor. Annabelle was being kidnapped and hadn’t the slightest idea where her new destination was or how to escape. Throbbing pain coursed through her body as Annabelle began to contemplate what she thought would be her last thoughts; ‘Annabelle, you have just suddenly turned your bad luck into a flirtation with the devil, when will you learn dimwitted twit!’ Before she could conclude her thought she was startled by a short abrupt stop. Dwight ghastly announced, “This place is what you will call home. You have one purpose and one purpose only that is to service me with something you already possess. You sleep in MY BED! You Understand!” Anna realized he was only interested in making her his personal s****l desired servant. ‘How can you be so ignorant, begging at the Seaman’s Tavern, now there is no future! Now there is no escape!’ Annabelle screamed silently. “YOU CANNOT MAKE ME DO ANYTHING, PUTRID SWINE!” Annabelle screamed, realizing she no longer had a choice. To her dismay, DWight did not relent instead he sent the wrath of ‘Dracula’ swiftly across her cheek. “Yes I Can and you will do as your commanded or you will suffer the consequence, once the bruises pain you in abundance you will succumb to my will.” DWight confirmed, reassuring her of her tragic fate. ’No, Anna you must escape him, you will escape him, even if you fail you must never give up. Once those doors’ open, run! Anna run! Keep running till your legs give way!.’ Annabelle demanded herself to oblige. Just as she agreed, DWight opened the carriage door, without flaw jumped down reached in ripping Anna out by the nape of her neck. ‘The time is now RUN DON’T LOOK BACK!’ Anna’s last thought before flashing to an unknown freedom. Not looking back, Anna ran with the power of a race horse, unfortunately DWight clung to his hidden cane sewn into his dress coat. Immediately, Dwight struck the back of Anna's knees forcing her to collapse face down in two inches of muddy water. Anna slowly closed her eyes to retreat into the sanctity of her mind. DWight rapidly tossed Anna over the length of his broad shoulder as he sprinted towards the back entrance. ‘I hate it when they run, what was she thinking? I’m no fool, stupid girl now look at you. It will be harder for you now, since you've attempted to escape me twice. What a shame, she’s a beauty.’ Torn away from thought, Dwight heard a faint whisper come from Anna’s lips. “Foolish girl, you shouldn’t have run. You know, you’re not the first girl I have partaken in abducting, you shan’t be my last. I am no fool, so unfortunately your circumstances will be much worse, YOU’RE A RUNNER.” DWight cackled followed by a deep throat laugh.
