Chapter 22: The Weight of Surrender
I lay in the nest with Vaelor’s seed still leaking down my thick thighs. My round belly rose and fell with every shaky breath. My heavy breasts were covered in marks from his mouth. My p***y throbbed and felt sore from how many times he had taken me. The pleasure still hummed through my soft chubby body, but my mind would not stay quiet.
All the trouble I had caused kept playing in my head.
Kael was in deep debt because of me. The king’s men were hunting us. My mother was suffering. Lira, the friend I trusted, had betrayed me and brought soldiers here. Vaelor had burned his entire hoard for me. He had changed his body for me. He was becoming more human every time he f****d me, but now his home was under attack again. All because of me and my selfish desire to feel wanted.
I could not keep doing this.
Vaelor slept beside me with his arm wrapped around my waist and his hand resting on my soft belly. His scales had faded so much overnight. He looked almost fully human now. Strong, handsome, and still completely obsessed with me. I touched his face gently. Tears filled my eyes.
“I am sorry,” I whispered. “I have brought too much pain to everyone.”
I slipped out of his arms carefully. I put on the thin silk and walked toward the edge of the valley. My thick thighs rubbed together and my round belly swayed with every step. My heavy breasts bounced softly. I felt exposed and heavy with guilt.
Kael’s voice called out again from the trees. “Sera! Come out! We know you are here!”
I took a deep breath and stepped forward into the open. “I am here,” I called back. My voice shook. “I will go with you. Just stop attacking. Please.”
The soldiers moved quickly. Kael appeared with Lira beside him. He looked tired and angry, but there was relief in his eyes when he saw me. Lira smiled like she had won.
Vaelor woke up the moment I left the nest. He roared and ran toward me. “Sera! No!”
I turned to him with tears running down my face. “I have to do this,” I said. “Look at all the trouble I caused. Kael is in debt. My family is suffering. You burned everything for me. I cannot keep hurting everyone. I am sorry, Vaelor. I need to go back.”
Vaelor reached for me but stopped when the soldiers raised their weapons. His golden eyes were full of pain and rage. “You belong with me,” he growled. “This soft body is mine. Do not do this.”
My heart broke. I wanted to run back into his arms. I wanted him to f**k me again and make me forget everything. But the guilt was too strong.
“I am sorry,” I whispered. “I have to.”
Kael grabbed my arm and pulled me away. “Let’s go, Sera. Before that beast changes his mind.”
The soldiers surrounded me. They gave me a cloak to cover my body. I looked back at Vaelor one last time. He stood there like a statue, fists clenched, watching them take me away. The pain in his eyes cut deeper than anything.
They marched me out of the valley. My thick thighs rubbed together as I walked. My round belly felt heavier with every step. My heavy breasts ached. Every part of my soft body remembered Vaelor’s touch. I could still feel his seed inside me. I could still feel the way he worshipped me.
Lira walked beside me. “You made the right choice,” she said. “Your family needs you.”
I did not answer her. I did not trust her anymore.
Kael stayed close. “Once we get home, everything will be fixed. The king will pay the rest of the reward and clear my debt. You will be safe again.”
Safe. The word felt empty. I had never felt safer than when Vaelor held my soft belly and told me I was perfect.
The journey out of the valley was long. My body grew tired. My mind kept replaying every moment with Vaelor. The way he licked my belly. The way he sucked my heavy breasts. The way he finally pushed inside me and made me c*m so hard I saw stars. The way his scales faded because of me.
By the time we reached the edge of the forest, I already felt empty.
We made camp as night fell. I sat by the fire wrapped in the cloak. My soft body felt cold without Vaelor’s warmth. Kael tried to talk to me but I stayed quiet. Lira kept watching me with strange eyes.
I lay down on a blanket later but I could not sleep. All I could think about was Vaelor alone in the valley. Had I just destroyed him? What if the curse took over because I left?
A single tear rolled down my cheek.
I had surrendered to save everyone else, but deep down I already regretted it. My body craved the dragon who worshipped every inch of my chubby curves. And I was terrified of what I had done.
In the distance, I heard a loud, heartbroken roar echo through the night.
Vaelor was coming.
