A few months had passed, and honestly, life was better than ever. Grisham and I were still going strong. Sage’s fear that we didn’t know each other well enough, that the novelty would wear off once we settled back to our daily lives—a fear I shared, too, to be honest—proved unfounded. We made a great team, we made each other happy both in the bedroom and outside of it, and we were more in love with each other with every passing day.
