Chapter -2(Meeting the Devil)

Pakhi left her house to go for her exam. As she stepped out, her father smiled and said, "Pakhi looks so happy. May God keep her this happiness always. May no evil eye fall upon my daughter's happiness." However, he was unaware that today was the day when someone's evil eye would indeed cast a shadow on Pakhi’s happiness.

Her mother sighed and whispered, "My only wish to God is that Pakhi never finds out the truth, or else my daughter will be shattered." Pakhi’s grandmother, trying to console them, said, "You both should let go of the past now. So many years have passed. Just forget everything for Pakhi’s happiness." But they had no idea that Pakhi's happiness was only short-lived.

It was 5 in the evening. Pakhi and her friend Supriya were waiting outside the mall for their other friends. Supriya excitedly said, "Pakhi, do you know this is the biggest mall in Delhi? And it belongs to Mr. Raj Singhania, one of India’s top businessmen. But no one has ever seen him, and those who have… are no longer alive. I’ve even heard he’s very hot and handsome. How I wish I could see him just once!"

Pakhi, annoyed by her words, said, "Enough, yaar! You always talk nonsense."

As they were talking, their other friends—Vipul, Mahi, Chavi, Rahul, and Ankush—arrived. Pakhi was wearing a light purple skirt with a hair bow, looking beautiful. Seeing her, Ankush got lost in her beauty. Ankush was not only the school topper but also Pakhi’s childhood best friend. He had feelings for her and had decided to confess them today. That’s why they had all planned to watch a movie together. But Pakhi was unaware of his feelings and only considered him a good friend.

As soon as she saw Ankush, she ran up to him and hugged him. Annoyed, she said, "Where were you all? Do you know how much Supriya was annoying me with her endless chatter?"

Ankush placed his hand on her head and said, "Princess, we were stuck in traffic." He had been calling her 'Princess' since childhood.

Just then, Rahul shouted, "Are you guys here to watch a movie or just to chat?" Hearing this, everyone laughed and went inside for the movie.

On the other side, Raj Singhania was stepping out of the Delhi airport with Mahir. Raj scolded Mahir, "What’s the update on the meeting with Kapoor? You know how important this meeting is for me. If anything goes wrong today, you know the consequences."

Mahir replied, "Sir, don’t worry. I have arranged everything. Our meeting with Kapoor is scheduled in Sunshine Mall in the next hour. And there’s another surprise waiting for you there."

Coincidentally, this was the same mall where Pakhi had gone with her friends. Was fate planning their meeting, or was something else written in their destiny?

After the movie, Chavi excitedly ran out of the theater and said, "What a fantastic movie! I’ve become a fan of the hero’s romance!"

Mahi and Supriya, placing their hands on her shoulders, agreed, "Us too, yaar!"

Listening to their conversation, Pakhi laughed. Seeing her laugh, Ankush got lost in his imagination, picturing himself confessing his love to Pakhi and her hugging him back in love. But his dream was interrupted when Pakhi waved her hand in front of his face and said, "Sir, which madam are you dreaming about?"

Caught off guard, Ankush stammered while Rahul teased, "Bro, how long will you keep your feelings hidden? School is over now. What if you keep waiting and someone else takes her away right in front of your eyes?"

Ankush hit Rahul playfully and said, "Shut up! Nothing like that will happen. I’ll confess my feelings to Pakhi after dinner today."

Meanwhile, on the mall’s top floor, Raj Singhania sat like a king on the sofa, facing Mr. Kapoor. He was meeting him regarding an illegal weapons supply deal. Mahir turned to Kapoor and said, "You already know what Mr. Singhania wants. Just sign the documents, and our containers will cross the border. In return, you will get whatever you desire."

Mr. Kapoor shouted, "I won’t sign any documents! Do whatever you want, even if it means killing me, but I won’t let you carry out this deal!"

Raj, now furious, said, "Killing you won’t benefit me, but your family will be useful." He signaled Mahir, who immediately played a live video showing Kapoor’s wife and children at a playground, surrounded by Raj’s armed men in civilian clothes.

Seeing his family in danger, Kapoor fell at Raj’s feet and begged, "I will do whatever you say, sign wherever you want, just don’t harm my family!"

Raj laughed like a devil and nodded at Mahir, who placed the documents before Kapoor. Trembling, Kapoor signed them. With a wicked smirk, Raj left the place. As they entered the lift, Mahir informed Raj, "Sir, Ranga has been spotted near this mall. The intel is confirmed that Little Boss has sent him to assassinate you."

Meanwhile, Pakhi and her friends were heading upstairs for shopping after dinner. She was talking to Mahi when Ankush called her. As she turned to look at him, she accidentally bumped into someone and was about to fall.

She tightly shut her eyes in fear but felt strong arms catching her. The one who caught her was none other than Raj Singhania himself! He had been walking while talking to Mahir when Pakhi suddenly collided with him.

Raj got lost in Pakhi’s green eyes, as they reminded him of someone. As Pakhi struggled to stand up, her movement caused Raj to lose his balance, and they both fell to the ground. In the process, their lips accidentally touched, leaving them both stunned and lost in the moment.

Realizing what had happened, Pakhi quickly came to her senses, pushed Raj away, and stood up with Chavi’s help, while Mahir helped Raj. Without thinking twice, Pakhi slapped Raj across the face, shocking everyone.

What will be the consequences of Pakhi’s slap? What will Raj Singhania do next? And what truth has Pakhi’s family been hiding from her all these years?
