Chapter Fifteen | Teach Me My Body

1488 Words
I held the blindfold in my hands, if the books did not bring back his emotions then I am most definitely sure this will. He might be angry with me, but it was nothing I could not handle. I arrive at his door; my fist collides with the wooden black paint waiting for his answer. The moment he flung open the door, I saw everything. His entire body was naked, my eyes immediately was covered with my hands. “You sucked it; I do not think it is going to hurt your eyes as much.” He whispers, leaning against the door frame. I uncover my eyes as I straight away look into his. “I have another plan, phase two on helping you. Meet me outside, in fifteen minutes. Okay.” “Yeah, yeah sure whatever. Can you leave now?” I nodded my head, turning around I rushed down the hallway. As I entered the kitchen, I made my way to the basket I already packed for the both of us. I headed outside and saw the sun streaming down. Hell was exactly like heaven. So why was everyone thinking of it to be bad? I laid down the carpet and set everything out, I made sure to also take out his diary so he could read through it and gain some feelings. I sat down and looked at my watch, exactly five minutes before he gets here. I made sure to not eat anything so we could feast on the pasta I made in the kitchen when the cooks were not there. I do not think they like me.   He is about forty-five minutes late; I feel drops of water pouring onto my skin. I made sure to wait, he probably is having a shower. After a while, I looked down at my watch. One hour. Two hours. Then I see a shadow appearing from the dark. I could not help the smile on my face, I see Lucifer playing with his hair as he glances up at me. “Lucifer!” I waved, he sighs and walks faster. The moment he stood in front of me, I asked him to sit down. “Sit then, we are going to have a picnic.” I said excitedly, this was going to be my first ever time that I am having this picnic. “A what?” “A picnic, here just sit.” He lays down onto the carpet, his hands over his face as I set the food out onto the carpet making sure everything was perfect. The minute I finished, I clapped my hands against each other and smiled. “Okay, so yesterday in the library did not work out as good as I wanted it to, so instead of me asking you questions. You can ask me, anything you want.” “I do not care about you.” He said unbothered. “I know but we need to gain you some feelings, so maybe one of my answers might shoot something in that black heart of yours.” “Having feelings is what got me here.” He whispered, sitting up properly as he grabs himself some fruits and shoving them down his mouth. “I know, which is unfair. You have been treated badly and you do not deserve it. So, let us explore them, let me help you like you wanted it.” “Exactly, wanted. I wanted help. Past tense, I do not need help anymore.” He alleged; I took a gulp of my spit as I rub onto my arms. “I think we are done today.” “But we have not even started, you have not asked me anything- “ “Because I don’t care about your life, I don’t care if poor old grandmother died or mum or dad. I do not care if you die, I just want to get rid of you, I do not need help of an Angel. Your breed brought me down here. This is your fault. So, f**k of.” He pulled himself up from the carpet, I glanced at him and bit my quivering lips as I stayed out, watching his figure slowly leave.  I was drenched. I slowly began packing up, the pasta I made was now soaked and so was I. I made sure to pick everything up. Something hit the bottom of my stomach, and it hit hard. I breathed in the sadness I felt and walked back inside. As I did, I hear laughter coming form the living room. I was about to check in, asking if they wanted anything until I hear his voice and decide to listen in. “That f*****g angel is getting on my last nerve.” I hear Lucifer say. “Where is she anyways?” An unfamiliar voice calls out. “Devil knows, she wants to help me regain feelings...” “Have you seen her? She would never fit in with us, I doubt she even fitted in with the above.” “Why do you keep her then? Send her back.” “I would love to, but I made a deal.” “A deal? You always make deals when you know you would win.” “I know, I just want her to die. I want her to fall and be forgotten- “ “As if anyone would even notice she was gone.” “I feel sorry for whoever is dealing with her.” My heart, well my heart slowly devoured into a clench. I looked down at the floor, trying to keep smiling. “This girl has never even had s*x before; I mean I asked her the other day if she has ever been in love.” Maya? I thought- “I know same, I mean she is boring, bland. No flavour.” Maria laughs out, I did not want to hear anymore of this, but is this what they thought of me. All I wanted to do was to help Lucifer, not to be bullied. I wipe a tear that has feel from my eyes and breathed in, stick and stones may break your bones but words can never hurt me. Right? I slowly walked away from the wall, into the kitchen. I grabbed my self a bowl and some ingredients enough to cook all of them. I love cooking, I always have. It always relieves my tears. There words hurt yes, but it was something I have dealt with my entire life. Maybe I am a little different, but why should I be ashamed? I have been down here for a few hours, the moment I finished. I switched of all the ovens and took them out. I set them onto the table, and allowed them to cool off. After cooling, I placed them into one plate and walked into the living room where they all sat down. Their voices immediately quietened and new faces looked me in the eyes. “I made cupcakes, just in case any of you were hungry.” “Oh yes,” Some of them said as they dived in, I smile and walk away. “Are you not going to take one?” I hear Maya ask. “No thank you, I am not hungry. It seems like everyone has a lot to say about me, so I would not like to intrude.” She was about to say something but the moment I look up, his green eyes. His light green eyes were the promise of spring, the gentleness of nascent buds. “Goodnight.” I whisper, facing away. The minute I reached my door, I touched the handle. Until I felt someone behind me, I did not need to turn around to know who it was. “Demon.” I never returned anything. I was about to push the door open when I feel his warm hand on top of my own. Pulling the door back shut, I turn my head slightly to the side, to feel his back against my own. “What I said down there- “ “You do not need to explain yourself.” I whispered. “I understand I am annoying and all but I was just trying to help you.” “I- “ “Goodnight Lucifer, we can talk no more of this.” I walk inside. I needed a long shower. I stripped of my clothes, and there I released my wings as I stared at the reflection of it in the mirror. My wing was half gone, it was burning of faster. I wiped away the tears and looked up at the sky. Wishing for my grandmother to come back and tell me to stay with my mother. I guess this was the hardest regret. I left her to help someone who does not want it.
