"Baby girl, I know you're busy but can you and Kane come join us for lunch?" my dad asked, Kane and I were busy looking through the rogue attack reports, hoping that maybe we could pick up on something different.
"Uhm sure dad" I said, looking at Kane to see if he was okay with it. He just shrugged.
"Great, we can drive down to the town together, your mother said there were a few good restaurants around. I'll see you in an hour" he said, hanging up.
