THE WEIGHT OF THE PAIN. AND SEEKING LIGHT. AND LEARNING TO HEAL

213 Words
Chapter 5: The Weight of Pain That night, Aarohi wrote a letter. Not to anyone, but to herself. "Dear Me, I know you’re tired. I know the smile feels heavy. I know you miss her. I know you feel invisible. But you’re here. You’re surviving. You’re strong, even when you feel weak. And that matters." She folded the letter and placed it under her pillow, a small promise to herself. Chapter 6: Seeking Light The next morning, she didn’t feel entirely different. The pain was still there, but something had shifted. A tiny spark of hope. She started small. Talking a little more to Riya. Writing down her feelings. Allowing herself moments of sadness without guilt. She even dared to ask her father if he wanted tea, breaking the routine of silence. He didn’t respond with words, but he didn’t push her away. And in Aarohi’s world, that was progress. Chapter 7: Learning to Heal Healing wasn’t linear. Some days were good. Others, heavy. But Aarohi learned that strength wasn’t about always smiling. It was about facing the storm and still choosing to move forward. She learned to open up, bit by bit. With Riya. With herself. She learned that vulnerability wasn’t weakness but courage. And slowly, the world didn’t feel as heavy.
