The Supreme Alpha

The break of dawn......

Selena's POV

As my smile reassured him that I was fine, with angry eyes his gaze shifted on to the struggling rogue who was barely standing up. He pounced onto him and began biting him on his shoulders, his neck and anywhere the alpha could get a bite. Trying his best, the rogue pushed the huge wolf away with all the strength he could muster and made a run for the dark end of the forest which stood as uncharted territory as witches who practiced dark magic resided there. Seeing that grey was going to give him a chase into the dark side I called out to him, "GREY!!!!! STOP!!!! ", feeling a strange Protectiveness towards him. As my words reached his ears he stopped on his tracks with perked up ears and turned back towards me. Applying pressure onto my wound, " Just come back to me" I said as I began to lose my consciousness.  By the time he reached me my vision had blurred and my legs had given off and I fell onto his warm, silky soft  fur soaking it with my blood. He let out a pained howl to make our location known to his pack members. The last thing I remember before passing out was seeing James wake up with a huge reddish dwell on his forehead and sprint towards me.....

Damien's POV

'Wake up Selena!!!' Was all I kept saying to her as I felt her blood coat my fur. She was losing too much blood and I couldn't do anything cuz if I moved she would fall back on the ground causing the blood to gush out. As she lost her consciousness James came to her side and pressed his palm onto the bloody hole on her stomach. I had already called out to my pack members who now came rushing to their alpha's call. Amber came running towards us before abruptly stopping and standing still as a stone. My beta came to my side checking me for wounds and realized that it was Selena's blood so he called for an ambulance to get her to the nearest hospital but James stopped him saying that three were no hospitals in the vampire territory. Panic took over me as I realized there is a possibility that it maybe too late before we get her to the hospital and an angry growl erupted from me startling everyone around me. I ordered Amber to secure my mate onto my back so that I may carry her to the pack doctor and once Amber was done I sped off towards my territory as my heart pounded with fear. 

Running with all the strength I had I was able to get to the pack house in no time where I was met  with  Dr. Martin Rodriguez who was informed before hand that I would be coming. As he tried to dismount Selena from me, an angry growl erupted from me warning him not to touch her. No matter if I had met her just today, she was my mate and I didn't want any male alphas around her other than me. Understanding my possessiveness he stepped back and waited for his wife, Dr. Sara Rodriguez to arrive. As she arrived she dismounted Selena and rushed her to the operation theatre. I changed back into my human form and put on a pair of pants and waited outside with a dreading heart. After 3 hours had passed, Dr. Sara came out and informed me that my mate was out of danger  but she was too weak to heal immediately so she would need to be monitored  and taken care of. Her words put my racing heart to peace and my mind to rest. After dressing her wounds and changing her clothes I had my mate placed on my bed and I sat beside her holding her hand and waiting for her to wake up. 

I stayed by her side staring her pale snow White face, her soft cherry pink lips and her silky soft Raven black hair hoping that any minute like the break of dawn. I waited and waited with hope for a miracle which would reunite me with my mate as she slept peacefully in her slumber.

Selena's POV

I was trapped in a dark place with no where to go and nothing to see. Have I died? Is this what happens when we die or am I hell as a punishment? But who am I and where exactly on earth is this place?? All those questions were returned with silence. I felt cold wind swirl around me but somehow oddly enough my plam felt warm. I began to faintly hear a soft breathing from somewhere around me but I couldn't Exactly see where. I soon felt weakness wash over me which put me back to sleep. This kept happening again and again for who knows how long with some incomprehensible words on some days. One day suddenly I felt the warmth on my hand return but this time I also heard someone speaking to me. 

" Good morning sunshine,  how are you today?? " , I wanted to answer back to the voice but no matter how much I tried no sound came out of my mouth. " Same as yesterday I see, don't worry tomorrow will be better when you wake up and believe me I'll be there with you in your every step " Somehow even if I know not who the speaker was and who he was to me, his words brought tears to my eyes which cascaded down my cheeks. Who ever he was I felt a strong desire to meet him and wake up from this darkness. 

Soon I felt myself laying on a soft mattress with the scent of my mate surrounding me and my mate holding my hand with his tears rolling down the back of my hand. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't open my eyes as my eyelids felt really heavy and my body felt paralyzed as I was unable to move even a finger. I wanted both Damien and Grey to know that I heard their each word and I was there with them but I couldn't. Soon exhausted from trying to move my body I felt myself slipping into the darkness of sleep.
