AVA
I gasped heavily as I opened my eyes and was met with the blazing early morning sun. It felt like I had just woken up from a thousand years old sleep. I looked around the room and noticed that I was in some kind of mini hospital.
The door opened softly and mom walked in, “Ava?” she gasped walking up to me. “You’re awake?” she cuppled my face and kissed my forehead softly.
“Mom?” I called, my voice coming out like a whisper.
“I’m so happy that you're okay.” she sniffed and wiped the tears threatening to drop. “I thought I had lost you, I thought that I wasn't going to see my little Ava.”
“What happened?” I asked softly, my eyes not leaving hers, “How long was I passed out?”
“Three days, you were unconscious for three days but the doctor kept on telling us that you were alright? She smiled and stood up. “I need to go inform him that you're awake. I puffed out as I watched her walked out.
Minutes later, the doctor came in and did his stuff. I was then taken back to the room where I and mom stayed the other day.
I stood in the shower, letting the water pour down. I didn't know how long I had spent in the shower but I know it was long enough for mom to come and take me out.
Finally done, I dressed up in a blue fitting jean and a top. I stared at my reflection on the mirror, puffy eyes with a tired face.
“Mom?” I called, sitting down on the bed.
“Yes dear?” She tilted her head over to where I was.
“I’m sorry.” Mom paused what she was doing and walked over to me. She engulfed me in a hug and I felt safe.
“You don't need to be, alright. You were just scared.” She whispered into my ears. I relaxed more into the hug and shut my eyes.
I knew that deep down, mom wasn't happy. Mom always put up a smiley face no matter how bad the situation was.
The rattling of the key hole made us to disengage from the hug. A servant walked in with a trey of food.
“Enjoy your meal.” She smiled as she walked out.
“Come on.” more gestured for me to come over. We ate in silence, each of us, having different thoughts.

XAVIER
“Logan!” I growled as we marched into the Dark moon territory.
“Xavier Blackwood.” He smirked walking out.
“Where is she?”
“Who do you speak of my lord?” He said, his tone laced with sarcasm.
I hopped down from my horse and walked towards him.
“Do not make me repeat myself, logan.” I said, my voice low but husky.
“You have no right to walk into my territory unannounced and seek to see my mate?”
“She is my mate?”
We stood, growling at eachother. My men stood, ready for action.
It took the interference of some of the Dark moon elders to separate us.
I insisted on seeing Ava and for her to come out and truly prove that she is fated to the both of us.
We sat in the long hall, waiting for her arrival. I could feel Logan's burning gaze on me, I turned and smirked at him.
The gate opened, making everyone to turn their attention and there she was. Walking gracefully like though she shared a bloodline with the moon goddess herself. She held unto her mother and I couldn't help but smile at her.
She stood at the high floor in front, her eyes never living the floor. She looked so innocent.
My wolf growled from within and I snapped at it to keep shut.
The high chief walked towards her and began to ask her the questions as we watched.
AVA
“How old are you?” A tall old man asked as he stood before me.
“18.”
“We received news that you were mated to our Alpha, Logan Blackwood ” he looked behind him and I followed his eyes, he was staring at Logan who nodded his head. “But upon his return, he brings forth another news that we rarely heard of. A human girl mated to two Alpha wolves, how is that possible?”
I stood motionless on the floor and stared down. Mom nudged at me to speak but I was too scared to speak. I fiddled with the hem of my cloth.
“Ava?” Mom whispered, “You can do this.”
I huffed out and slowly raised my head up and was met with a lot of piercing eyes.
“I woke up after my birthday and I saw the marks on my body.” I answered.
“Are the marks still on you?” I nodded and he stepped down and a lady who looked about sixty years of age walked upto me.
“Can I see it?” She asked politely as she smiled at me. I looked at mom for approval and she nodded her head.
I slowly lifted my top and she gasped as she saw it.
“She speaks the truth.” She announced and the hall erupted with whispers.
Mom held tightly unto me as they began to discuss amongst themselves.
“Ava?” I heard, I looked up at the owner of the voice. Xavier.
He smiled at me and closed his eyes.
“I’m sorry for everything, you can do it.” I heard again, he opened his eyes and his smile increased.
I bowed my head in embarrassment, I didn't know why I felt safe after hearing his voice. Was it the fact that I was mated to him or it was my crush on him that was still lingering in the air.
“Ava?” The man from earlier called, jotting me out from daydream.
“A decision has been made.” He began. “The elders of the Dark moon Pack, together with the elders from the Blackwood pack have put our heads together and we've reached a decision and you Ava Reed will have the right to either accept or decline.” He looked back at the group of elders and stared back at me.
“Since it has been proven that you are being fated to the both Alpha's, you are to decide on whose territory you would stay up until we've heard from the moon goddess.”
I was turn in between the line. I had to make a decision here. Was I to stay with Logan who is my head Alpha or Xavier who is my crush.
I stared at both Alpha's as their gaze locked at mine.
I was going to make the hardest decision of my entire life.
