LOGAN
I flung open the door and there she stood, a knife on her hand as she held it towards her wrist. I raised my brows at her stupidity.
“You won't die, if I slit it there.” I said walking towards her. She stared at me, her eyes roaming through my body. “Oh this,” pointing towards the blood on my shirt. “Just having a little fun a while ago before you disrupted me but I think I can finish it here.” A smirk appeared on my face as I advanced towards her. She fell on the bed and knife slipped off her hands, I leaned forward, trapping her between my hands, my body looming over hers.
“Wh...at are trying to do?” her voice broke as she struggled under my weight. I leaned down to kiss her but her face shifted sharply, and I grazed her cheeks.
“Be still Ava.” My voice came out low, hoarse but commanding. She didn't listen to me as she continued to wriggle.
“Ple...ase.” She broke out crying, her voice touched a part of me, a part that wasn't meant to heal, not yet.
I slowly stood up from her and she ran out immediately. The guards tried to go after her but I stopped them. “She’ll be back.”
I laid on her bed, inhaling her sweet scent of lavender as it lingered in the air. “Ava.” I groaned as my eyes remained shut.
AVA
I ran into Ruby's home, shutting the door tightly behind me, frightening her.
“What’s wrong?” her face filled with many questions as she stood up from the floor she was crouched on. I ran into her embrace. She hesitated for a while before she placed her hand over me and began to calm me down. Wr stayed in that position for a few minutes before we disengaged.
“Can I sleep over here, just for tonight.” I pleaded, she smiled, tucking a strand of hair behind my ears. “My home is your home Ava.” I smiled as the tears came back again. I couldn't bring myself to tell Ruby about what transpired between I and Xavier, I didn't know how she would react if she finds out what truly her Alpha really is.
I layed on the bed, staring into space. Ruby had gone out to get some stuffs, so I was left alone. I rolled tirelessly on the bed, my mom filled with lots of thoughts. Why did I reject Logan, this wasn't the first time he tried kissing me. Why did I felt disgusted from his touch. I remembered how I yearned to feel him inside of me the other night. What was going on with me. I sat up immediately on the bed, could it be Xavier. Was it because I had lost connection with him.
I stood up from the bed and went out through the backdoor. I had to get to Xavier, maybe I was just trying to care for me, that should be the reason why I rejected Logan.
The woods felt awfully quiet, I began to have second thoughts about the decision I took. But it was already too late, I had gone half of the journey so it would be fruitless if I returned.
The rustling of the tree made me halt in my steps. I scanned the area, I felt the presence, someone was here with me.
“Hello!” I called out but got no response. The rustling stopped, everywhere went silent that if a needle should fall, it sound would be heard.
I tried to move and the rustling continued. I stopped and so did the sound, I tried it again and got same reaction. My face curled up into a scowl. Whosoever that was behind the bushes, was trying to mess with my head.
I stayed still for some few minutes but the sound didn't come again. I huffed out and was about to walk forward when he stepped forward within the grasses, a smirk on his face.
“I knew you would come.”
“Xavier, why?” I glared at him, still surprised as to how he knew I was coming.
“Sorry, just wanted to tease you a little bit.” He stood before me, our faces inches apart.
“How did you know I was coming?” I raised a brow at him.
“You’re Ava, that's what you do.” He said grinning. I found myself smiling at his words, it worked magic on my body, his voice low but endearing.
He held out my hand, placing it on his chest. I could feel his heart beat. I stared up at him, his eyes boring into mine, it held so many unspoken words, I wanted to draw back but he pulled me forward, making me hit his chest, his hands on my waist. His hot breath fanning against my neck, he leaned in, licking my neck, I bit my lower lip, trying to endure the sweat pleasure that he was causing me.
I didn't come for this, Ava you need to stop. I tried to push him away but my body failed me. He brought his face closer to mine and planted a soft yet simple kiss on my lips. My body wanted more, it felt refreshing. I found myself circling my hands around his neck, drawing him closer, I initiated the kiss. I felt him smile as he nibbled on my lower lip. He sucked my tongue like his life depended on it, his hands roaming my waist. I shifted my hands from his neck and into his hair. I broke the kiss, gasping for air, he smiled, placing kisses all over my face.
“I want you Ava.” He whispered into my ears and I shuddered under the feeling. “Tell me you want it too, Ava, tell me?” his voice came out husky but smooth.
His lips feathered on my neck, placing kisses on them. I let out a light moan, I tried to suppress it but I couldn't hold it anymore.
I cupped his face in my palms, brought it closer and slammed our lips together. I couldn't deny it anymore. I wanted him, not just him, I wanted my Alphas.
