I snapped my eyes open, my chest rising and falling. Sitting up slowly as I wiped the sweats on my forehead with the back of my palm.
“Are you okay?” Ruby asked sitting beside me.
“Umm... Yeah, I think.” I stuttered, staring around the room.
“What time is it?” I asked, standing up from the bed.
“Uhh... Almost nightfall.” She replied, her eyes trailing my movement. “Is there a problem?”
I walked to the closet, searching for a more comfortable outfit, my hands fumbling through the clothes till it landed on the perfect one. A black hoodie and a denim pants. “Perfect.” I whispered, smiling at the dress.
“Ava?” Ruby asked, staring at me, as she leaned on the door.
