I sat on the couch in my room as I flipped through a book. It's been three days and I've being indoors, locked in by myself. Three days since I last saw Ruby and since the incident was Logan. I didn't know how to react if I see him again.

I wanted his touch again but I was equally scared of him. He had said that it was a punishment for failing one of his rules.

__ Do not leave the house without his permission.

__Do not go outside the city walls

__ Always be back on time before curfew.

I had failed to obey all three rules. I do know one thing for sure, he was unaware that I had gone to the Blackwood territory.

I stood up from where I sat and walked towards the shelf, trying to find another interesting book to read. I was done with the one I had and needed another. Mom had helped bring some of my books when we were taking from home.

“I’m not doing this.” I threw the book down and walked out of the room. I walked into the kitchen but there was no sight of Ruby.

“Is there anything you need my lady?” One of the maidservant asked as she approached me.

“Yes, actually.” I muttered, “Isn’t Ruby here?”

“Oh she's at the cornfield.” She replied with a smile on her face. “Just at the back of the back stable, it's not hard to find.” She bowed at me slightly before walking away.

I hurried to the back of the building, I had remembered passing through the stable the other day while training with Ruby. I got to the stable and found the cornfield. It was really big, one could easily get lost deep inside the field.

I met some of the other maid servants but still no sign of Ruby. I asked for her and was told she was in the stable. I groaned heavily walking back to the stable.

I pushed the large door open and walked in.

“Woah.” I mouthed as I stood on my spot, admired the beautiful horses. I walked towards a brown horse and began to pat it's head.

I smiled as I continued to stroke on its head and it felt comfortable under my touch.

“Seem like it likes you.” I spun around so quickly.

“Ruby!” I shrieked loudly, engulfing her into a hug. She giggled as I spun her around.

“Seems like someone missed me huh?” She teased.

“Where have you being?” I glared at her, crossing my hands.

“I ought to ask you the same question.” She replied back, her hands on her hips. “I came looking for you the next day but the guards won't let me in.”

“Really?” I asked with a furrowed brow and she nodded. “Was there a reason as to why you weren't allowed to see me?” I asked.

She rubbed her hand against her chin as she stared up. “Not really, but I did find it kinda weird tho but hey...” She grinned widely, “You’re here.”

She took me round the stables as she introduced each of the horses to me. I smiled as we walked around, I came to a halt when I saw a white horse at the far end of the room. It swayed it's long hair beautifully.

“That’s Micha.” Ruby introduced and I staggered.

“Mi...Micha?” I stuttered. I could tell that my wolf was surprised as she stirred up within me.

“Yes.” Ruby nodded staring at me. “Is there a problem?”

“She has the same name as my wolf.” I whispered staring at horse.

Ruby gasped loudly as she covered her mouth with her palm. “That’s huge.”

I nodded and slowly walked towards it. I stood in front of it as it stared at me like it was trying to say something.

“Hi.” I whispered. That was the only word I could find. Surprisingly, it bowed it's head to me. I turned back at Ruby with a surprised look. She nudged at me to stroke it's head. Slowly, I lifted my hand upto it's head and gently, I began to stroke it.

“Micha.” My wolf growled and I smiled.

I fluttered my eyes open as huge wave of water was splashed on my face. I gasped loudly as I tried to catch my breath.

I had being kidn*pped and kept captive in a place I had no idea about. I had visited Ava the next day at her house after I confessed to her. I wanted to make things right between us. I had entered her room through her window, which was where I normally entered from so it wasn't a new thing. I entered her room but it felt weird, I opened her door and was about to walk downstairs when I heard weird movements. I hid beneath the staircase and peeped out and that was when I saw them. The Substitute teacher and some other man fighting over Ava claiming she was some sort of mate to them. I watched as Ava held tightly unto her mother before she spoke out and fainted. Ava was a werewolf. I found it hard to believe, I didn't want to jump into conclusions easily. I watched as the men exchanged words until Mr Logan asked his men to take Ava together with Mrs Reed into his car.

As they zoomed out, I hoped on my bike and raced behind them but just as I was catching up to them, a car hit unto my bike, throwing me off. My vision got blur as persons gathered around me and then I felt my body being lifted up the floor and laid inside a car and that was when I lost consciousness.

I woke up later on and realised I was kept inside some sort of dog cage. I banged loudly before a huge looking man walked in. He threatened that if I made any other sound again, he was going to cut off my tongue. He looked damn serious to joke around.

I have being in here for days, only been fed twice a day. I haven't been able to have a proper bath.

All I know was that whoever took me captive, was with Ava.

But my question was why he had taken me captive when he could have easily killed me after finding out that I was being followed.

I needed to escape here, I need to get to Ava.

I need to know what exactly I had gotten myself into and

also, I need to know why I was still alive.
