Year 2086

Every corner of this elegant room was filled with unnecessary noises, a complete contrast of the party's venue. You can hear the people's useless whispers, rumors, disappointing opinions and surprised statements.

It was irritating for her ears, to be honest. They honestly look all ugly, especially the ones who were opening their mouth too much. If only she could stop them, however if she ever does that, a commotion will happen. Or for a worse scenario, RAY will be notified by her sudden actions and he might remove her from the organization. They might even notice that she's a spy.

Wearing black cocktail dress and fur on her shoulders, she immedietely stole the show tonight. She smiled despite the bitter emotion that she was feeling and raised her drink as a form of greetings to everyone. Raven mentally rolled her eyes, they should all be lucky that I still have good manners. She was continuously greeting everyone even though they kept dissing her silently or backstabbing her.

"Look who's here. The famous Raven Davina. The only sister of the run away cyborg. No wonder your brother is like that. It really runs in the family, I guess! " someone shouted between the crowd followed by a loud laughter.

By letting everyone hear his words, Raven isn't surprised when people started to look at her. They were giving looks that could kill someone, a stare that is even sharper than daggers.

Everyone in this room must be feeling mixed emotions and reactions to her. She raised her eyebrow and signaled to mind their own business. Everyone looked away, they knew their places, realizing that they will gain nothing from doing those.

Raven mixed with the crowd and bravely found and confronted the person who dared to talk against her and her brother, Axis. When she finally found him, she smirked. Oh look who it is. She started to walk slowly towards him and stop to look closely at his face.

"This party was beautiful. It even had a good atmosphere until someone just talked loudly. It ruins the ambiance. If you're talking about someone, please whisper. Be ashamed of your ugly voice, okay?" she talked to the person who shouted. Whispering every word on his precious ears. He trembled in anger.

"Yo–!" he immediately stopped when the speaker talked, a cyborg. "I guess everyone is here. Let's start already. We shouldn't waste time since a very important person is here. All of you know how important this is."

The lights switched off and a bright and huge hologram appeared in front of them all. And with that, a silhouette appeared. The mysterious man was holding his cigarette and in one word, everybody in the room clapped despite being scarred to death. This man really gives a strong presence to everyone. Raven even trembled when she saw him but she was aware that this person is just a facade.

"Good morning everyone. To the scientists that are here and even to my precious creations. I'm glad that you all accepted my simple invitations." the person in front smiled.

Raven could feel how the atmosphere had changed. If only she didn't know the truth, she might have also been scared just like the others.

"In the recent data, the success rate of achieving the latest multipurpose supercomputer increased by 87.3% percent. It only needed a few more installations of programs and updates in the system before it became functional for the Project RBT."

In the hologram, a bar graph appeared showing the latest information. I gulped at the sight of it and realized how fast they were moving. If today is March 2086, the Nexus supercomputer might be finished in October 2086.

"As of now, the machines that scientists around the world are currently working for are almost completed. All of us know how important that project is to preserve and protect human lives. Right?" he added without breaking his eyes to everyone. His stares pierced everyone's eyes and it was like he knew everything.

"With ODM's help, we'll be able to make it a reality. Like I said, as long as you believe and hope, everything you imagine can happen. It's our duty to study and renovate the world for humanity's developments and survival." Raven rolled her eyes but then gulped when his eyes landed on her.

"Always remember what we are doing is for the future generations. For them to survive the cruel reality. All of you got it right?" he raised his glass. Everyone nodded. As if they're slaves. No one can go against him or else they're dead. They have no power against big people like him but Raven knew she is not ordinary. She has a chance.

Raven breathed heavily and stole one of the gems on her headband. She aimed it to one of the audience. As soon as the hologram disappeared, she shot it with 100% accuracy using her smart contact lens.

The gem or rather a needle hit the stranger's neck causing her to collapse on the floor, unconscious. Raven expected the whole room to panic but instead, someone stopped everyone from moving. The guards immedietely tried to find who it is. She's sure that someone is definitely watching them and that person is also controlling everything that includes the people inside here. Well, this was her purpose here. To find out who has access to the mega centers.

All the people inside here are engraved by this called microchip on their neck. Through this, the higher up committee can stop their breathing, can paralyze them and control all of their moves. They're like machines or robots, dolls, and puppets or whatever they are. Sadly Raven didn't even know if she should still call them humans anymore. She sighed when many people stopped moving except for a few scientists who seemed to not know anything.

Before anyone noticed it was her, she escaped using her speed. Increasing the power and letting it flow through every vein and muscle of her legs. She jumped to the window that was near and disguised itself with the building. Raven climbs to the other higher window and sticks on the building wall using her fingers. Looking down she saw the advanced and dystopian city, with almost no natural resources, just a smart city. A new age has come indeed.

Raven suddenly remembered and missed how this city looked before.

A warcraft greeted her and opened it's door. Andrah greeted her and shot one of the guards following her. "Thanks" Raven said. She looked at her side and saw Omega Davina, she gasped with the sudden apperance of her father. What a surprise.

"Father." he simply smiled and nodded. "Any updates where your brother is?" he asked. Even if he doesn't say it, Raven can tell that her father is feeling uneasy about this.

"Currently I can't track him in the city. It only leads to one thing, he's far. Far away the city and is probably staying in a small village or an outdated place." Andrah Informed, Axis's old comrad and former bodyguard.

Andrah is the one who's piloting the helicopter. Raven just shook her head and sighed once again. That brother of mine. Where is he? Mom would become worried or worse she'll probably get mad at us for leaving him alone.

"She's already mad tho." Raven's father said. "Oh shoot." she shyly nods and holds the back of her neck. Her father, Omega Davina is a CEO of the company that is famous for smartphones. Little did she know that he is also an agent for an organization that goes against the objectives of RAY. She recently find out about this but her father denied to reveal more info.

Raven even contacted numerous hackers and investigator about his father's other job but they always failed. Not a sueprise really.

She stared at the dark sky and whispered. Where are you now? Are you okay? Why are you always an i***t?

"Axis may be in danger but I'm sure he'll be fine. He may be a coward or an i***t but I'm sure he had a reason why he did this." her father said assuring that everything Is fine. For sure, he's also worried as well.

"Why is he so reckless?" Raven started to wonder. Thoughts flooded her mind right now. There's so many things she should do after this. She also felt her body being weak. I didn't get proper sleep these days. Mother will get mad, I'm sure of it.

On some days, I admit that I wanted to give up already but now isn't the perfect time for a rest. RAY was moving faster than they expected so they have to increase the speed of their steps more. They need to be ahead of his plans.

"Axis won't act reckless unless he sees a reason to. Or the worst case scenario, he's dead" Andrah said without a hint of hesitation. Still having those bored blank expressions.

"Andrah, don't talk about him like that. Always remember that." Raven argued. "I'm just talking about reality." Andrah continued and activated the speed mode and just like a rocket, they escaped.

Project RBT, a dangerous project that can either ruin or save humanity. That's all she knows. She lacked info of how will this project ruin or save humanity. Heck, she really needs more information but her father seems to be blocking her investigations. She wanted to question why.

Looking at the microchip that her father gave her, she holds it tightly.

"Agent 311, Mission Accomplished. We'll stop and rest for now." Raven said on the line.
