Belle’s Point of View
When I awoke again, I realized that the room where I was seated was cooler than before. I was sure I had been relocated because the aroma of the surroundings had changed.
"I need to be a little calmer," I grumbled as I started to examine myself. My body appeared to have grown used to the medication because I was no longer dizzy.
I couldn't move since I could feel the cold iron on my wrists and feet, so I waited until no one was around.
"I can shatter this chain," I muttered, grasping the heavy steel. I was going to pull it out when I heard footsteps behind me as the door opened.
“Doctor, please....I want to be as successful as she is! Inject me with the long-awaited experiment you've been working on!"
