Belle’s POV.
I was awakened by the sound of my phone. We got busy with the cheering squad because of Audrey's unexpected bet, so even though I have great physical strength, I can't help but get exhausted, especially when coaching my teammates.
"Hello," I said into the phone, my eyes closed.
"Happy birthday, love," Zeke said warmly.
Because of his deep voice as he greeted me, I grinned and appeared to restore my strength.
“Thank you ... Don’t tell me, you waited until twelve to greet me?”I ask. I stood up from my laying position to look out the window. However, the light in Zeke's room is turned off.
"I've been looking forward to your birthday," Zeke continued, "But there's an emergency at my grandfather's house, so I can't see you right now."
