Our dinner turned out great! Jacob couldn’t stop praising all the food I cooked for him. He loved everything.
“Hmmm… these are really delicious. Looks like I could keep coming here everyday for your delicious food.” I smiled at him. I don’t consider myself a great cook, but I can cook a decent meal. I learned it from my dad who is great at cooking. I am glad that I was able to use what I learned from dad all those years.
Dinner will not be complete without a nice dessert. So, I took out from the fridge the carrot cake I made. I added some nice frosting on top. Everyone in the family asks for my carrot cake whenever we get together. So, I am confident that Jacob will like it too. The moment he took the first bite, I could see he was trying to savor its flavor.
