I woke up to the incessant ringing of my phone. I checked the time from the clock on the bedside table. It is 7 am. Who would call me at this time unless it is a family emergency? When that crossed my head, I immediately sat up and went to check my phone but the ringing ended.
I got more than ten missed calls from both mom and dad. I also got some missed calls from Stephanie. I looked to my side only to see it empty. Jacob must be outside preparing our breakfast or doing something else.
After our dinner last night, we went home tired. I was tired emotionally for trying to appear fine when everyone else were talking behind my back. I convinced myself several times that nothing else matter except Jacob.
Anyway, Jacob was tired but for other reasons mainly from work. We immediately went to
