CHAPTER 12 Not knowing what else to do, Victor drove back to his apartment. Striding into the room, he passed the kitchenette along the south wall, so he opened the mini-fridge. Pulling out a bottle of beer, he shuffled over to his shabby sofa and flopped down, still seething.
