AVA's P.O.V.
“So… See you at school tomorrow?”
After an hour-long ride, we were finally right in front of my house and 30 minutes before 10. I was unbuckling my seatbelt with my right hand because my left hand was still hugging his right hand while his left hand was on the steering wheel.
“All right, I’m heading in now. Good night”, I said after I was done unbuckling my seatbelt and opened the door to step out, but I was not able to get my body out of the car and I ended up sitting back and looking at him. He looked back at me in confusion while I stared at him dead.
“I need to go now.”
“Yeah, you should go.”
He said innocently, as if telling me to seriously get going. I could not help but roll my eyes and moved my left hand to make him remember they were still hugging each other.
