“How’s your search for my son-in-law?”
I instantly rolled my eyes as I continued walking in the empty hallway headed to the cafeteria sighing inside my head.
“Never better”
“Well, you should start packing your things so I can ask my butler to escort you back to the mansion.”
I expected that, especially because he wanted me back at home too. But I don’t like living there, so going back is not an option. In other words, I’ll have to find a good-for-nothing husband as fast I can before my time’s up.
I don’t even know why I obeyed a deal I have never agreed on.
“I still got more than a week. And when that dinner comes, I’ll give you my husband and you can do anything you want to him, even eat him alive.”
“The Maharlikas wouldn’t be happy to hear that.”
