“Ava! Are you okay?”
He ran as soon as he saw her lying on the ground. He had quickly sensed she was unconscious but breathing fine which had calmed him down.
He carried her in his arms and went to his car quickly to get her to the backseat.
He made sure to get her phone and quickly sat on the driver’s seat and drove out of the building to her new apartment.
The whole ride, he could not help but stretch a smile on his face as he stares at the mirror reflected on the backseat and Ava is sleeping peacefully.
When the car finally stopped in the front gate, he went out and carried her to her house gently. Like a new wedded couple, he tried searching for her keys and found it on her purse, successfully unlocking the door.
