I splashed water on my face then looked in the bathroom mirror, trying to calm myself but failed. I was currently in my office bathroom, and I could not get the feeling out of me. The belief that I had when I saw Walid cry for the very first time.
Should I forgive him that easily? Should I forget about everything that he has done for me? Should I? All the pain and suffering.
'No, Antonia. Make him suffer for what he did first,' my inner thoughts said.
'I can't do that. I have to let Walid tell me why he did that to me,' I argued back.
'Make him suffer,' it said again.
'No.'
'Yes.'
'No.'
"Shut up! No! Never!" I screamed, slamming my fist in the mirror, making it break. I looked at my hand and watched the blood coming out. All this talking was giving me a headache. I wanted everything to stop.
"Antonia?" Emily pounded on the door, "Are you okay?"
I backed up, sliding down the wall, tears rolling down my cheeks. I did not feel like talking to anyone. Make these feelings go away!
"Make it go away! Please," I begged, placing my palm down my face.
"Antonia! I cannot help you if you do not let me in. Please open the door," she said.
"I-I can't. I have to rest," I said as my eyes closed.

It was currently the lunch break, and Jacob was coming to pick me up like he always does. He said that we have to eat healthily. He means me and my baby needs to be healthy. I watch him pull into the driveway with his big truck. He got out and came to my side, opening the passenger door.
"Hey babe," He pecked my cheek.
"Hey," I whispered, breathing in the air. Although we have been married for a long time, Jacob's kisses still affect me.
Hearing the door slam behind us, I turned around to see Antonia running up the stairs to the front of the building. I turned around to look at Jacob, who gave me a confused look.
"Is she okay?" His eyes filled, concerned for her.
"She's probably late for her meeting again," I looked at my phone for the time, "Yep. She is late."
"Shouldn't you be with her at the meeting?" He asked.
"No, I can take a lunch break anytime I want. It is an order from Antonia because I have to feed two stomachs. Our baby girl and I. Now I want food!" I pouted.
He kissed my forehead and said, "You're so adorable and cute."
I blushed, getting in the truck, but I could not because I was so big. Jacob chuckled, grabbing my waist and gently placed me in the passenger seat. He grabbed the seat belt and putting it on me. I liked it when guys put the seatbelt on their girl. I think it is cute and hot.
"There you go, ma'am," he smiled.
I kissed his cheek, "Thank you."
He smiled and got in the driver's seat. He started the engine and drove away. I rolled down the windows, loving the feeling of the wind hitting my face. Halfway through the road, I got a call from the office.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Emily, it's me, Maddie. Something happened to Boss," she hurriedly spoke.
"What happened to her?" I asked, getting worried.
"She just ran through the building and locked herself in the bathroom. She won't open the door," Maddie panicked.
"Okay, stay there. Do not move. I am on my way. I am counting on you. Try to talk to her," I ordered.
"Yes, ma'am," she said, ending the call.
"Jacob turn the car around, back to the office," I ordered.
"Why? What happened?" He asked.
"It's Antonia. She locked herself in the bathroom," I explained.
"Not again," he said, turning the truck into a U-turn.
"Hurry up!" I yelled.
"Okay! Okay! I am," he said.
Antonia locked herself in the bathroom before. It was when Walid left her for the very first time. To this day, that incident still frightens me. I got out of the car and started to walk fast to the office. With me being pregnant, I could not walk very fast. I go to the room.
"Okay, people! Move out of the way! Coming through!" I yelled, shoving the person that was in my way.
I mean. I already did warn them that a pregnant woman was coming through. They moved out of the way and Jacob, and I walked to the door. He took out his phone and dialed 911.
"Antonia?!" I banged on the wall, "Are you okay?"
I started to get worried that she was not opening the door. Jacob used his shoulder to open the door, but it will not budge. I wonder why he lifted weights if he could not even open a freaking door.
"Make it go away! Please," she sobbed on the other side.
"Antonia! I cannot help you if you do not let me in. Please open the door," I clarified.
"I-I can't. I have to rest," I heard her say faintly,
Oh, God! This was not good.
"DO SOMETHING!" I screamed, starting to panic. Oh, God! Don't let anything happen to her. Please.
"I'm trying!"
"Why do you even go to the gym if you can't even open a fucken bathroom door!" I snapped.
"I am doing the best I can," He said, mumbling something about women being lazy. I'd show him women being lazy if he did not open this door fast.
"Move back a little," he said.
I did what he told me to do. He took a couple of steps back, running towards the door. Using his leg to kick the door open, I ran in to see Antonia on the floor with her eyes closed.
God, do not let anything happen to her. I put my hand under her nose to feel if she was still breathing. My eyes widened.
"She is not breathing," I gasped, looking at Jacob.
"Sh!t," he cursed.
He got next to her, started to do CPR. I, on the other hand, took her head and put it on my lap. I quickly unwrapped her hijab to let some air hit her head.
"Someone call the fucken an ambulance," I barked.
"I already did. Paramedics are on their way," Jacob informed.
"They better be here in 10 seconds, or else the job will be on the borderline," I snapped.
"Calm down, Emily," Robert said.
I put her head on the floor and got up. Walking up to him, I grabbed him by the collar.
"That woman lying there on the floor," I pointed to Antonia, "is my best friend, sister, and daughter. If anything happens to her, I will go crazy. She is like someone personal to me. So don't tell me to calm the fu!k down. And you better start calling me ma'am," I growled.
"Sorry," He gulped nervously.
"Excuse me," The paramedic walked in.
"Get in the bathroom right now. Antonia isn't breathing," I ordered. They rushed in and did their work; the paramedic put a mask on her face. They rush her into the ambulance. A person told us to follow them to the hospital. I turned to Robert and ordered, "Go pick up, Omar."
"Yes, ma'am," he nodded his head.
We got into the car, driving behind the ambulance. A police car was behind us, and another one was in front of the ambulance with their siren on.
Please god! Please do not let anything happen to her!
